So far we have seen Yash Raj film is equivalent to grand wedding ion screen .But this time they have surprised all by arranging grand real wedding. We can see the grand filmy wedding in Chandni, Silsila, Dilwaale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge and other movies. This time The Yash Raj production house hosted a non-Bollywood wedding in real YRF style as a part of the promotion of their would be releasing movie Band Baaja Baaraat.
Band Baaja Baaraat (BBB) team arranged a contest. The participants were couples. The production house was to arrange a real wedding for the best couple. The winner were Manpreet and Mandeep hailing from Nagpur.The house arranged shaadi for this couple in.a Gurudwara .They were very happy as they were married among the Bollywood stars and the largest cinema house of the country hosted their marriage. The relatives of the couple were also present. Anushka and Ranveer attended all the rituals including dress fittings and dance rehearsals to Mehndi ceremony. Ranveer danced for the audience. Singer Raageshwari and Mauj Punjab Di sang all the hit Punjabi dance numbers. The most attractive item was the Sakira’s song Waka Waka in Punjabi beats.
The second couple won a honeymoon trip to Switzerland and the third couple to Kerala.
