ESPN and ESPN HD launched in UK for premier league

American based sports channel ESPN has brought all the TV rights that was earned by Irish satellite Setanta but English Premier League sold the rights to ESPN as Setanta failed to paid due time. At last the American TV channel brought all match rights and declared the it will launch Sports Channel in UK. Recently it has launched two Sports channel ESPN and ESPN HD by name those will screen 46 premier league matches.

In addition to Barclays Premier League action, ESPN will also screen plenty of other live UK and international sport which will be available in both standard and high definition.

Ray Stubbs and Rebecca Lowe will co-host ESPN's football coverage alongside Mark Chapman, Kelly Cates and Darrell Currie, with Jon Champion and Derek Raw leading the commentary teams.
