West Indies v Australia: Michael Clarke is doubt to join the Test Series

From 22 May, the Test Cricket Series between West Indies and Australia will be taken place in Caribbean country. Before the first Test Australia will play a practices Cricket match alongside Jamaica Select XI. Australian middle order batsman Michael Clarke was selected as the vice-captain after Adam Gilchrist’s retirement from International Cricket. Due to his father’s illness Michael Clarke is doubtful to join the three Test match series one Twenty20 International and five ODI International cricket tournaments.

The withdrawal of Clarke came as a surprise to some of his team-mates and a Cricket Australia spokesman said his arrival date in the West Indies was currently unclear. Michael Hussey has been handed the vice-captaincy and Brad Hodge has been named as a shadow player. "Despite the circumstances it is a huge honour to be given the role," Hussey said, "even if it may only be for a short period of time."

In the auction Michael Clarke has been bid in very low prize money. That is why he did not attend Indian formatted IPLT20 cricket tournament. As a cause he showed that he wants to spent time with his family. Anyway I am praying for him and his father so that he could come round soon.
