10th match of CB Series and what is next?

India was defeated by 18 runs to Australia in the Tri-Nation CB Series on Sunday at SCG. Gautam Gambhir’s 113 runs could not save India. Indian top order batsmen failed to make a good score almost in the every match in the CB series. Sachin Tendulkar, Indian little master and most depended batsman, has failed to get runs in the last matches in this series. Besides Rohit Sharma, Virender Sehwag couldn’t do well in any match of this series.

Australia won the toss and elected to bat first. At last they scored 317 runs by 7 wickets. Australian most dependable batsman Ricky Ponting performed well and scored 124 and added one more century in his personal carrier. Running behind leaded 317, India scored 299 runs by losing all their wickets to remain 5 balls to chase the target of 318 runs. Although, India failed to win yet they struggled heart and soul and played a rivalry match against Australia. They have to play dependable cricket like Australia to win. They should learn from Aussie how to play. Brett Lee the hero of Australia team and destroyed Indian batting line-up easily in the last spell and took 3 wickets just delivers 7 balls. As a result he earns 5-58. Gautam Gambhir and Captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni raised a little hope of win by performing 98 in their partnership.

However, India will face to Sir-Lanka on 26 February. It is being expected that the match will be rivalry and enjoyable. source
