India vs New Zealand practice match highlights: Champions Trophy 2009

At first, I am going to congratulate New Zealand scoring the big score and for the massive win over Indian cricket team. Wining toss, the Black Caps elected to bat first and scored 301runs by losing 9wickets. Perhaps this the highest run against Indian team. Although Indian newly form backed batsman Sachin Teddulkar did not play. Although it is not an international match but the prestigious trophy this kinds of performances will disappointed all supports.

No doubt that New Zealand has played on of the best cricket of their history from my view. Without a single century New Zealand able to cross 300 runs against Indian blowers. I think Indian fans will be dissatisfied to show good performances in the Champions trophy 2009.

Fall of New Zealand’s wickets:1-33 (McCullum), 2-93 (Ryder), 3-148 (Taylor), 4-167 (Guptill), 5-177 (Oram), 6-211 (Elliott), 7-254 (Vettori), 8-301 (Broom), 9-301 (Patel)

Fall of Indian wickets: 1-58 (Karthik), 2-70 (Dravid), 3-101 (Dhoni), 4-112 (Raina), 5-125 (Yuvraj Singh), 6-128 (Pathan), 7-130 (Kumar), 8-197 (Nayar), 9-198 (Mishra) and 10-198 (Singh)

The statistic of falling wickets Indian batting line-up is unbelievable after wining the tri series and the bowlers except YK Pathan, A Mishra and Raina offered the expensive run-rate.

Forget everything and dress with a new mood because Indian has some strong opposition in the Group A. They have to face arch rival Pakistan, top ranked Australia and stronger West Indies.

India v New Zealand 3rd Test batting bowling and scoring

India is on the way of win, I think none will disagree with me if Indian crickets do not show any irresponsibility in the next rest innings. Though 379 runs from first inning was not good enough for any teams like India against New Zealand but the host could not build any strong base which can make challenge over the India cricketers. Now, India is on batting for second innings and need to make a big score in the third day. India is on the leading position by beading New Zealand earlier in the first innings.

India already has taken the series lead 1-0 and the 3rd test is totally favor of them too. If they can win then they will break of the records of 46 year. No, doubt that India is doing well under MS Dhoni’s Captaincy which did not seen ever in Indian cricket team and the cricketers also got back their life.

Indian Bowlers Harbhajan Singh and Zaheer Khan picked up the maximum wickets from the New Zealand side. Harbhajan Singh took 3 wickets and bowled very economically.

Highlights and live score, India vs New Zealand 2009, 1st test, 4th day

India is in the seat of the driver of the first test that is kicking up at Seddon Park, Hamilton. It is really a big challenge for the Dhoni’s men. The 4th day will be the most important for Indian men because, the performances of this days the guests especially the bowler and the fielders will able to break the losing records against New Zealand in its home series. It will be a big achievement on the side of Dhoni’s captaincy. India last won against the Black Caps in 1968. So, still now it seems that wining toss and elected to the bowl first is the steps to take that series lead.

Two days are still in hand and India seats on the seat of the driver. India bowlers stopped NZ batsmen before ending the first day as a result India threw a good leads over the Kiwis. In the first the host just lost all wickets scoring 279 runs and India pitched 241 runs leads. At the end of third day India able to take three bid wickets just given 75runs.

Indian bowlers put a huge pressure on the batsmen and bowled very economical but took early wickets. Z Khan picked up 2wickets and become the 7th Indian bowlers who add 200 wickets in their career. Ishant Sharma is the most successful bowlers took 4 wickets in the first innings as well as MM Patel picked up 3 wickets, although Harbhajan Singh packed one wicket but bowled very inexpensive. In the second innings Z Khan, MM Patel and Harbhajan Singh takes single wicket when Ishant Sharma and Yuvraj Singh could not make any break. It hopes that the 4th and 5th days’ pitch will be the haven of Spin bowlers.

New Zealand batting line was totally in pressure from the fist time. Middle and lower-middle order batmen’s accomplishment throw them to score 279 runs. JD Ryder and Captain DL Vettori scored 102 and 118. DL Vettori also took 2 wickets as well as CS Martin and IE O'Brien picked up 3 wickets each.

Sachin Tendulkar, 42th test century, against New Zealand

After success in One-day series against the Black Caps, India has started their journey on Test series.  Sachin Tendulkar is playing really well. He has got back his form and batted well. He was kept out from the last ODI due to injury. India is on batting of the first test’s 1st innings. India won the toss and sent New Zealand to bat first. NZ had to close their 1st innings just bagged 279 runs.

Sachin Tendulkar is considered the best batsman in cricket. He has played 156 tests. His total run is 12429 that is highest in Test cricket history. He is also the number one batsman who hits more hundreds in test cricket.

He has bagged the 42th hundred in his test career. To earn 42th hundred he has to play 168 balls when he hits 15 fours and the strike rate was 59.52. India lead by 52 runs with 5 wickets remaining.

India vs New Zealand one-day results and Updates 2009

India just has finished its one-day international series of five cricket matches series in New Zealand. The visitors are started their tours with the two Twenty20 cricket tournaments and later they played a five matches one-day series.

The Kiwi took the lead over the Indian in T20 international and defeated visitors 2-0 but India defeated the host by 3-1 when one match was abandoned for bad weather. All the pitch was supportable for the batsman that is why the fans enjoyed it most.

The next option of the tour is the three tests. It is clear that the Test matches also will be more attractive to the fans. The Test series will be held on 18 March 2008.

Opportunity for India to whitewash New Zealand 2009

India already has confirmed the crick series victory against New Zealand. The fifth one-day international is going to take place in Auckland. By wining the one-day cricket math of the five odi match series India has won in 3 matches and one just has been left abandoned for the rain.

TOI reported:

The Indians have already taken an invincible 3-0 lead in the five match series and will be keen to try out their reserve players for the inconsequential game at the Eden Park.

Sachin Tendulkar, who sat out of the last game because of an abdomen injury, is likely to be rested for the match so that he is fully fit for the Test series beginning March 18.

India are determine to take a revenge over the host that was in twenty20 series over the guest. So, it is big opportunity for India and the fans are waiting to watch this kinds of match on 14 March 2009 in Auckland.

4th ODI live streaming, Text scoreboard, India vs New Zealand, Seddon Park, Hamilton

Three important cricket series is going on. Among them India-New Zealand one-day international cricket series is the most exciting to the cricket fans over the globe. India is visiting New Zealand and the visitors are leading the series result with 2-0 wins. Although three matches have been over but one was abandoned for the rain but by winning rest two India is dreaming to title the series winner.

No doubt that 4th one-day cricket tournament is the most important for India and NZ because if India gets victory then they will confirm the series winner on the other hand by winning this match they NZ will back to the series and then the 5th and final one-day will be the key match to be the winner title.

It seems the NZ is the most favorite in this venue. In the last match Black-Cap played a very impressive and positive cricket which is inspiring them but the opposition is facing injury of Sachin Tendulkar. It is a big pressure of the visitors and the host boosted with their captain Daniel Vettori who is coming back for the 4th one-day cricket international match at Seddon Park, Hamilton. Seddon Park provided most wins on the enthusiasm of NZ. It has secured 9wing out of 10.

New Zealand has good winning record and they played aggressive cricket match in the last few matches against India. But India has three wins records of the last five matches. No confusion, that Indian batting is now holding the top position at this moment for one-day international cricket. So it tough to beat India at that time but we can not make sure that they will be the owner of all matches. I think, the last match was the big example for India that NZ is able to beat anytime.

Winning toss is also the big factor of the Seddon Park, Hamilton in the day-night match. So, if any of the team dreams to win in the ground they have to be lucky in toss too. There is nothing to assume. Just time will say what the result will come. That is why all have tow wait.

Similarly, the 2nd ODI also did not take place and at last it was discarded. So, it the big facts rest of the tournaments. The 3rd ODI will be taken place in Christchurch. According to the weather forecast that I have collected from the different weather forecast websites are below:

stuff.co.nz is showing that the weather will be a clear day at AMI Stadium in Christchurch. Sunday’s highest temperature will be highest 23 oC and lowest 10 oC. Similarly, metservice.co.nz is also forecasting find sunny day during the match time but Yahoo weather is showing that the day will be plenty cloudy.

AMI Stadium is formerly known as Jade Stadium and Lancaster Park, It is sports stadium situated in Christchurch, New Zealand. Mainly two types of games organized here, Rugby and Cricket. First One-day international was placed between New Zealand and Pakistan where New Zealand won by 22 runs on Feb 11, 1973 and the last one-day international was held between New Zealand and West Indies when the host gets 5 wickets defeat at Jan 3, 2009. There is only one match when two foreign countries took parts in 1990. Among the 45 matches New Zealand has begged 25 wins. Before the last defeat New Zealand secured five victories in a row.

Weather condition: suppose to be good

At AMI Stadium India played matches and did able to sack any wins and among them four matches was alongside the host New Zealand. On the other hand, New Zealand played 45 matches with and got 25 victories. I hope if the weather does not go against then both the fans will enjoy a competitive one-day tournament.

India vs New Zealand 3rd ODI 2009: there will be a simple change in New Zealand squad

If may bring some changes in New Zealand squad in the 3rd ODI that is going to take place on 8 March 2009. The host is behind a step after losing the first ODI alongside India. It hopes there could change too in the 2nd ODI, especially Brendon McCullum who faced thumb injury but he come to field to dominate Indian bowlers. But for the 3rd ODI, it expects that captain Daniel Vettori should keep out because he is going to become a father of a child. But her wife Mary is facing little bit problem that is why he may not present in the 3rd ODI against the guest India.

In his absence, Jeetan Patel will cover the gap of spin side. Jeetan Patel was debuted with ODIs on Aug 31, 2005 against Zimbabwe. He just has played 37 ODIs and picked up 42 wickets. The best bowling figure is 3 wickets to 11 runs. He used to play first class Cricket on the side of England Lions. Although the latest bowling figure is not good, he just picked up one wicket in the last five-ODIs against Australia.

It expects that there will be not changed in that squad. The T20I winning hero Brendon McCullum will be available as well. Although the 2nd ODI was proponent for bad weather but in the first, ODI MJ Guptill played the roll as key batsmen who scored 64 runs from 70 balls.

Watch live score, India vs New Zealand, 2nd ODI and Preview

India has returned to the winning way after losing in the last two T20 and New Zealand is inspiring from the ground supports and also hope to returns of key player of t20 win Brendon McCullum. But India is looking very positively about second win over the host. Sachin Tendulka who did not do well in the first one-day, is in the squad for next.

Second one-day International
Date & Time of play: 6 March 2009 Local time14:00, (01:00 GMT)
Live TV: NEO Sports, DD1
Online Live Score: Crifinfo, Cricket Nirvana
Venue: Westpac Stadium

Pitch condition: The second one-day international (ODI) is going to take place at Westpac Stadium, Wellington. The condition of that will be a little bit slow. So, batsmen have to bat very carefully. This condition is very positive for the India batsmen. May be, these kinds of pitch supports the spin ball well. India has a big supports from this side. The opposition has also some bowlers who can bowl technically and Captain Daniel Vettori will be the turning option. New Zealand’s weather and the players’ experiences will be supportive and inspire them to take the lead and will able to balance the series. But India batting side is well known over the world they can turn back anytime. Virender Sehwag has already said that if India's batting clicks, they can score 300 in every game. Even so, New Zealand couldn't have chosen a better venue to level the series. It's their favourite venue and Daniel Vettori said his players feel very comfortable playing here.

Injury in both sides: Although New Zealand has declared the squad for the 2nd ODI and Brendon McCullum’s name is chalking in there but if he does not recover then Peter McGlashan will be replaced. In the previous T20 international McCullum’s role especially in the second T20 match. Indian key bowler Ishant Sharma has been kept out from the squad even he did not attend in first ODI. Praveen Kumar was replaced in the absence of him. May be he will not attend in the second ODI too.

Winning record at Westpac Stadium: As a host New Zealand have always positive in their home tournaments. Even, if you look over the last matches records it will draw you attention that they won 10 matches and five losses. The ground has very positive for them. But, in the last five matches he just has secured one wins from the most recent matches. On the other hands India has got 4 wins.

India is leading the ODI series after winning the first one-day international of 5 matches’ series that was held at McLean Park, Napier, on 03 March 2009. The second match will played at Westpac Stadium in Wellington. Due to bad weather, the authority reduced the match to 38 overs in stead of 50 overs. India 273 runs from the fixed overs were really base to throw the challenge to the Kiwis. New Zealand also accepted the challenge seriously. Again, rain created a barrier and again they reduced and fixed for 28 overs.

After beat to the host, the guest was in pressure and make up mind storage to take the series lead and aimed to present a massive score to the opposition. Indian openers V Sehwag and SR Tendulkar stated well from the stars although SR Tendulkar went to the pavilion just begged 20 runs from 43 balls but V Sehwag stands strongly and scored 77 from 79 balls when he hits 11 fours and a single six. Indian caption MS Dhoni and V Sehwag stands India in a stable position and he personally adds 84 runs. Hard hitter Yuvraj Singh has to return Pavilion by run out by Vettori. Middle order batsman SK Raina also plays very relax mood. He scored 66 runs. At the end MS Dhoni and YK Pathan finished the innings and total score comes 273 runs. So there is not doubt that all the Indian batsmen did well except Sachin Tendulkar and Yuvraj Singh. I think India batting line-up will be inspired for the first one-day match and will able to take the series lead win more wins.

When India threw and strong challenge to the host New Zealand they could bowl comfortably. They did not face any pressure. The attacking bowlers Zahir Khan and the young Praveen Kumar started very well and felt New Zealand trouble as a result 5 wickets just after 111 runs. Harbhajan Singh personally picked up 3 wickets for 27 runs just from 4 overs. Although Z Khan picked up one and P Kumar took two wickets but they able to make a big pressure over the New Zealand batsmen.

The first ODI was over and India got the win by 53 runs in D/L method. Now, four one-day matches are still left. Those are very important for both teams. New Zealand is always unique in its home series and able to beat any teams. Anyway, in this article I am just explaining about the venues rest of the matches of this series. The first match whenever India beat New Zealand at McLean Park, Napier on 3 March, 2009.

The second ODI will be held at Friday 6 March and the local time 14:00 local, 01:00 GMT at Westpac Stadium, Wellington. The match was originally schedule on March 17, 2009. The second T20 international New Zealand v India was held on27 February, 2009 when India beat to the host. The stadium usually used for the multi-purpose but mainly used for Rugby tournament. The ground was opened for all in 2000 and the first inaugural match was a one-day tournament that was held between New Zealand v West Indies - Jan 8-9, 2000.

The third ODI match venue between India and New Zealand has been selected the AMI Stadium in Christchurch on 8 March, 2009 at 14:00 local, 01:00 GMT but it was originally scheduled for March 20, 2009. Due to ban Pakistan tour India proposed to visit New Zealand earlier of the fixed date. AMI Stadium basically used for Rugby and it will be the main venue of the Rugby World Cup 2011. Although, the cricket matches has been organized in this stadium since 1930 but the day-nigh match inaugurated in 1997 after adding the lighting towers in 1996. The first T20 international match was held at this ground of the ongoing series whenever the inaugural Twenty20 was arranged on Feb 7, 2008 between New Zealand and England.

Seddon Park, Hamilton is the play ground where fourth one-day international will be kicked off on 11 March. The time schedule of the match is 4:00 local, 01:00 GMT. According to the weather forecast, there will be a small speed breeze during the match starting time. Seddon Park is the home venue of Northern Districts' Cricket Association. Since 1956-57 the first Class cricket was held here but the international cricket was placed in 1991.

The final tournament of the ongoing series along-with India will be placed on 14 March 2009 at 14:00 local, 01:00 GMT and the venue is Eden Park, Auckland. No test match will be kick off at this ground of the thrice. As the venue is used for Rugby and Cricket that is why to keep the cricket pitch well the authority makes it as a removable. In 2011, it will host two Rugby World Cup Finals. Although Eden Park is fit for Test and one-day cricket but no test match will placed at this tour.
