In IPL 2008 Kings XI Punjab reached to semifinal under Yuvraj Singh’s captaincy. This year the team will appear to the new host, South Africa under his captaincy. In the 2nd Semi-Final along-with Chennai Super Kings on May 31, 2008, they had to leave from IPL final. But this year, they are confidence to improve more and take lead in final.

In an interview Kings XI Punjab Captain Yuvraj Singh explained, “We have a good team this season. The only worry is the pace department. We have a good batting line-up with the likes of Sangakkara, Jayawardene and Shaun Marsh. Besides, we also have Ravi Bopara this year who can also bowl a bit.”

Recently, Reebok India has launched a cricket bat where they have used the design of the tattoo of Yuvraj Singh’s arms and the color is golden and black. The official has explained in detailed that I have use as a quote.

Mr. Sajid Shamim, Executive Director Marketing and Product, Reebok India Company said “Yuvi, as Yuvraj Singh is fondly referred to by his friends, admirers and fans, was the genesis of this new bat sticker. The wings in the design borrowed from the tattoo on Yuvraj’s arm, represents flight, flight towards success and achievement. The black and gold colors used in the design represent power & grit of a sportsperson. And we felt that the combination of the two would symbolize dynamism which has been one quality inherent to Yuvraj Singh’s personality”.

One of my junior informed me that DD, NEO Sports, Fox Sports will telecast will telecast too. May be DD National will telecast the matches so that the locals could watch the matches.

After after India’s dramatic victory in the ICC Twenty-20 finals, It’s advantage Neo Sports. The exclusive cricket channel, owned by Nimbus Sport, has already booked Rs 75 crore worth of advertising accounting for 65% of its inventory for the upcoming India-Australia series, starting September 29. Tying up sponsorship deals for the rest could now be a breeze.

“After the disappointment of the World Cup, this will definitely bring back the buoyancy of the game. But, its a long season ahead, and its a larger version with 50 overs. So, it is critical for India to sustain its performance. If the initial matches don’t go in India’s favour, rates will automatically slide down,” said Shashi Sinha, president, Lodestar and regional media director, FCB Asia Pacific.

Now it is clear to all the cricket fans that they will able to see all the matches of home series of India and Australia easily.
