World Twenty20 second season 2009 Opening ceremony timing

On 5th June 2009, with the match between England and Netherlands the second season of the ICC Twenty20 World cup 2009 will be started its way. Twelve teams are taking parts in this tournament. The opening ceremony, opening match and the final will be held at Lords’ that is called the center point of cricket or modern cricket. Previously, England arranged three world cricket festivals such as, first World Cup one-day international cricket in 1975, secondly 1999 world Cup and 2004 Champions Trophy. This is the forth time England is going to celebrate this kinds of festival.

To make women cricket popular, the year 2009 will celebrate the two final matches in a day on 21 June 2009. That day women World Twenty20 final and men Twenty20 final will be held in the same ground Lords’. Twelve men’s teams and 8 women teams will be take part in the different tournaments but the final or closing ceremony will be held in same day and same ground Lords’.

With the match between SA Women and WI Women at Taunton the ICC Women's World Twenty20 2009 will be held in English gourd too. All the matches will be played at Taunton and the inaugural math will be taken place on June 11 at 10:00 local, 09:00 GMT.

According to Local time of England the inaugural Mach England vs Netherlands will be played at 17:30 local and 16:30 GMT. But for the Indian fans it will be aired at 22:00 IST similarly for Bangladesh and Sri Lankan time it will be at 22:30 but according to PST it will be at 21:30.

Asian time is most important for cricket business because 4 top rated countries always take parts these kinds of festival. May be 90 percent of cricket fans live in this area. The time will be very odd for the Oceania regions’ fans.

World Twenty20 Cricket: you should know

Before Word Twenty20 second season, all the teams have been met happily to play warm-up matches in England. These will not only increase their capabilities or to understand the movement of the oppositions before the word most expected sports tournament at month of June 2009. By the time being, the World Twenty20 festival has appeared in its 2nd edition after inaugurated in the South Africa in the year 2007. The format and appearances have charmed all the cricket fans over the globe.

The first season of the twenty20 formatted cricket tournament was held on September 2007 at Johannesburg and some others cities of South African. The quick format pleased the cricket lover all over the worlds.

Most of the changing methods always got huge popularity to the cricket loves. First One-day cricket was played on May 2, 1962 between the two English county teams. Similarly, the first Twenty20 cricket match was also held in England in 2003. After four yeas it comes to public in 2007 as a world competition. And, India achieves the prestigious title first time.

Australia squad for World Twenty20 2009 in England second season

The best Test cricket team, One-Day international Champions Australia has declared a 15 men squad for upcoming World Twenty20 2009 in England. The team is looking very unusual to me but full of young players. From this view, it is a mixed squad. May be, the main cause of it, the champion could not play any good T20 cricket in last championships and another cause is a large number of senior players said bye-bye from international crickets.

I almost very happy getting the list of from the selectors where the most senior man Ricky Ponting has got responsibility to lead the team in upcoming World Twenty20 championship. Brett Lee-Andrew Symonds has been placed among the 15 men after get rid up long term injury. Michael Clarke has showed a mine blowing captaincy at the absence of Ponting and David Warner who is the base of Australian Twenty20 formatted cricket at this moment, is performing well in the IPL 2009. Hussey brothers, Bracken and gong are supporting well. That is why; my complement is Australia is sending a mixed team in the second season of World Twenty20 2009.

Expectation to Australian team is very high as a fan because their last few years presence in every formats of cricket. It holds the top points in the rankings tables on both area One-day internationals and Test. So, as a fan, anyone can expect to be best in the Twenty20 field too. May, their aim and consciousness will be so as all expect them.

There are many questions in media about the declared squads for world championship. Especially Brett Lee but I have question about Andrew Symonds. I know the selection committee very intelligent than me. They have done what they found the best. The only T20 match before world twenty20 will prove that is the decision from the selection board is ok?

The squad: Ricky Ponting (c), Michael Clarke (v-c), Nathan Bracken, Brad Haddin, Nathan Hauritz, Ben Hilfenhaus, James Hopes, David Hussey, Mike Hussey, Mitchell Johnson, Brett Lee, Peter Siddle, Andrew Symonds, David Warner, Shane Watson.
