South Africa bagged 3-2 series wins over Australia

In the last match of the series Australia beat the host South Africa in the last one-day international of the five-match series. Australia has to face second series defeat to South Africa. Really, this is big tremble for the world champions that they beat in the home and away one-day international series. Although Australia take the test series lead, they lost in Twenty20 and one-day international series.

Next week Australia will visit to Pakistan for five-match ODI and one Twenty20 match. This tour will not take place in any Pakistan home’s grounds. Pakistan will host the series in Dubai, UAE. Now, it is question that how will they perform in the upcoming tour.

The recent tour for Australia is not fruitful, may be they are disappointed to get this results. The visitor won first two Tests among the three and the 3rd result went on the host. Secondly the Twenty series went on South Africa by 2-0. At last the One-Day series result also goes on the host by 3-2.

Sachin Tendulkar, 42th test century, against New Zealand

After success in One-day series against the Black Caps, India has started their journey on Test series.  Sachin Tendulkar is playing really well. He has got back his form and batted well. He was kept out from the last ODI due to injury. India is on batting of the first test’s 1st innings. India won the toss and sent New Zealand to bat first. NZ had to close their 1st innings just bagged 279 runs.

Sachin Tendulkar is considered the best batsman in cricket. He has played 156 tests. His total run is 12429 that is highest in Test cricket history. He is also the number one batsman who hits more hundreds in test cricket.

He has bagged the 42th hundred in his test career. To earn 42th hundred he has to play 168 balls when he hits 15 fours and the strike rate was 59.52. India lead by 52 runs with 5 wickets remaining.

New Zealand v India 2009, Preview, live score and TV Live, 1st Test, Hamilton

Two exciting tournaments are going on in the Oceania continent of Indian crickets. One is the India-New Zealand test cricket series other is the ICC Women World Cup cricket tournament. Winning the one-day series Indian camp is dreaming to take the lead of the Test series. The first Test match of the cricket series will be kicked off on 18 March 2009 at in Hamilton

India has played more than 19 Tests matches in the away grounds of New Zealand when they just won 4tests only and the test of Hamilton is the 20th test match against New Zealand. By wining 10 tests cricket match the host is leading ahead. India last won over New Zealand by 8 wickets on 24 Jan 1976 in Auckland

The success records last five matches of India is good but NZ’s record will not bring any anticipation. But, the Black Caps are very positive in their home series although they have no victories in the last five as well as India did get a loss in the last five where three wins and two draws.

India have proved that their batting line-up is very strong than any other teams at this moment. In the all matches they played in the couple of months, especially after taking the responsibility as a captain MS Dhoni leads the team. Sachin Tendulkar has back to his form as well as Virender Sehwag has stepped up three from his pervious position. Yuvraj Singh comes to the top ten list as an all-rounder.

The Pitch is very friendly to the batsmen and Indian already has introduced with it before. Wining toss and bat first will be a steps of entering in to the win-win session and the pacer will get extra facilities for this flat wickets. Weather concern is the big fact of the ongoing tours. But, the test will supposed to be free from this worried and they day will be hot and clear.

New Zealand has played 14 Test cricket matches at Seddon Park in Hamilton whenever bagged six wins, six drawn and two lost as well as India played three Test cricket but does not get any win. They had to satisfy with two drawn and one lost.

Test Squad of both teams:

New Zealand (likely): 1 Tim McIntosh, 2 Martin Guptill, 3 Daniell Flynn, 4 Ross Taylor, 5 Jesse Ryder, 6 James Franklin, 7 Brendon McCullum (wk), 8 Daniel Vettori (capt), 9 Kyle Mills, 10 Iain O'Brien, 11 Chris Martin/Brent Arnel

India (likely): 1 Gautam Gambhir, 2 Virender Sehwag, 3 Rahul Dravid, 4 Sachin Tendulkar, 5 VVS Laxman, 6 Yuvraj Singh, 7 Mahendra Singh Dhoni (capt & wk), 8 Harbhajan Singh, 9 Zaheer Khan, 10 Ishant Sharma, 11 L Balaji/ Munaf Patel.

India busiest practices hours vs New Zealand 2009

Gary Kirsten, the South African cricketer is now playing the role as Indian Cricket Coach has well experiences in the New Zealand climate condition. The Coach is implementing especial strategy from his personal skills. He has powered his batting average by adding 58 in test cricket, where his total average is 47.45.

New Zealand’s grounds are always windy. So it is very tough to suite easily for the team like India. In the last few day India have exhausted as lot of times in practice season in batting bowling and fielding. They have been tip about how to take the highest benefit from the windy condition.

Cricinfo wrote:

"What we are focused on, is to make sure that the guys are ready when they are needed to be. It might take a bit of time during match play. Senior players who have been here pass on the information that they need, we pass the information too, but it's the players who have got to do the job."

The climate conditions are approaching again and again in my writings because as a host New Zealand are totally confidence and perfect form the all side but India has not experiences about it even India visited New Zealand last time more than 7 years ago. From this view it can say easily that there as a very few players who have understanding with this circumstances.

Indian coach is on pressure to sustain the winning sequences. The team has jumped to the third position in both areas Test and one-day internationals after adding cashing victories from the last few tournaments.

Indian Coach has kept his total concentration to improve the team. That is why he kept the men busy for four hours in a day.

Sachin Tendulkar has reached 39 Test centuries

Indian star batsman just has completed his 39th century. He just has reached to this milestone when Indian team is playing its 4th Test and his personal 146th Test matches at Adelaide. In the morning India won the toss and elected to bat first. At 68.2 over of the first day Tendulkar hits Clarke and takes a boundary (FOUR) over mid-off and completed his 39th centuries in test career. Before this ball Tendulkar hits a 6 and reaches 98. It is his 10th test centuries against Australia.

68.1 Clarke to Tendulkar, SIX, Tendulkar charges Clarke again and launches him into the stands at long-on with a massive swing of the bat, he used his feet brilliantly and he's on 98

68.2 Clarke to Tendulkar, FOUR, the Adelaide Oval erupts as a off drive beats a diving Brag Hogg at mid-off, that's his 39th Test hundred and the applause is warm and spontaneous

Source Circinfo

It is totally a great achievement for him even as batsman it is an enormous success. It is his second test centuries in the ongoing series. During the 2nd test at Sidney, he scored 154 (not out).

All about the First Day of the First Test: Australia vs India

Much predictable Australia vs India test match has been started and already 1st playing of the first test has finished. Australian captain Ricky Ponting won the toss and decided to bat first. After finishing the first day playing Australia has scored 337 runs for 9 wickets. The hosts were expected that they would build a big score in their first innings against India. But they have failed to build a big score. Although their starting was very excellent yet they couldn’t well from the lunch time till end of the day. The opening pair scored 135 runs and Australia lost their first wicket Phil Jaques, who scored 66 runs. Australian opening batsman Matthew Hayden scored his 28 test century in this test match and he took 124 runs playing 160 balls.

Indian captain Anil kumble is the first bowler, who attacked first in Australian batting line by his aggressive bowling. He bagged Australian major 5 wickets are Mike Hussey (2), dangerous big-hitter Andrew Symonds (35), Adam Gilchrist (23) and Brett Lee (0). Anil kumble finished the day with 5 for 84 off 25 overs. It is his 35 test five wickets against Australia. Mentioned that, Indian captain Anil kumble is the 3rd highest wicket hunter in the world now.

Another left arm successful pace bowler Zaheer Khan took important 3 wickets giving 93 off 22 overs. He bagged the wickets of Matthew Hayden (124), Australian skipper Ricky Ponting (4) and left-hand Brad Hogg (17).

Rudro Pratap Singh got only the wicket of Michael Clarke and another spinner Harvajan Shing remained ticketless.

However, at last Australia took 202runs for 9 wickets in the 1st day of 1st test. And they took this runs after losing their first wicket. Australia has a record of continue wining of 8 test matches. If they may win all of the test match in this series then they could build a record in test cricket. So this is a great chance for the host team. After all Australia is great powerful team in their home ground against any team in the world. However now Australia has only one wicket is left. Mitchell Johnson (10) and Stuart Clark (21) are in crease. They will start their playing for 2nd day. Let us see what will happen tomorrow?

Anil Kumble is the Captain in the Home Test Series

Anil Kumble is one of the famous bowlers in the world. He has been kept a lot achievement in the basket of success in his cricket life. He is the third player in the world who achieves the highest wicket in the world after Warn and Muralidharan. But he is the second man who has taken 10 wickets in an innings. He is the man who touches the record of English bowler Jim Larker. The 36 years old man has been selected as a test captain for Indian team in the home series along with Pakistan. Drear readers, I want to remind you that Kumble took 10 wickets against Pakistan in 1999.

SouthAsiaBiz reported

However, many cricket fans do not even know who the third highest wicket taker in test cricket is. Yes, it is Anil Kumble, the man who has been doing his job silently for India. Kumble is unlucky that he is in an era of Inidan cricket when batmen like Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly and Rahul Dravid took away all the media spot.

Now it is an important issue in Indian cricket because the juniors are doing well but the evolvement of Kumble will take away the opportunity of the juniors Harbhajan Singh or Murali Kartik who did well for the both series home and aboard.

Australia vs Sri Lanka Test 2007: Sri Lanka is doing well in the warm up match

Sri Lanka tour of Australia for two tests matches. The first test will take place form 8 November 2007. They are playing some preparation match before test. When I was writing the article, it was after two days after the first tour match and the second match will be started between Queensland and Sri Lanka on 2 November at Brisbane. The first tour math was totally positive for Sri Lanka. Bowlers and Batsmen both were doing well in the three days worm up match. MS Atapattu(56), Jayasuriya (154) and Samaraweera(71) all batsmen did well and the bowlers M Muralitharan, MF Maharoof bowled a very good economic bowl in the math.

Sri Lankan Master blaster Sanath Jayasuriya reminded his previous match and to told that "I made my first test century here against Australia, so I'm quite happy to get another hundred here," said 38-year-old Jayasuriya, who has indicated this will be his last tour of Australia. "It's always good to get a hundred before a test series because you get a lot of confidence from that."

There is no doubt the Australia is the best Cricket Team in the world now a day. Their test winning records are well. They won 12 tests match without break and wrote their name in the record of cricket history. On the other hand Sri Lanka has a very good quality batsmen and bowlers. So the match will be more exciting.

Australia vs Sri Lanka series 2007: Brett Lee is expecting to win the series

Australian pace bowler Brett Lee is expecting that his team and team members will do well in the upcoming two matches test series along with Sri Lanka. He was not on the team last 10 month for his injury. The first match will started from 9 November 2007. Although his pioneer Mc Grath and Shane Worn is not on the team but the team will keen to with the series, he told strongly. As an example he added that they had done well in the last series along with India. They could reflect that success in the forthcoming series too.

"I've done it (led the attack) for about three years now with the one-day attack, so it's not going to be any different," he said. "The fact now that we haven't got Glenn and also Shane Warne to rely on when days get tough - and I'm sure there will be some tough days over the next 12 to 18 months."

The 30-year-old may be on the comeback trail after suffering an ankle injury which ruled him out of Australia's triumphant 2007 World Cup campaign. But, despite toiling without reward during NSW's recent draw with Queensland in the Pura Cup, he feels fit enough to challenge Sri Lanka's celebrated batting line-up and get some wickets.

I am not sure how he is expecting it because Sri Lankan is in Australia now and playing some preparation match with the host and doing very well. Yes, he could expect so because Australia is the most powerful team in the world now. In the all the sectors such as batsmen, blowers and all-rounder are very strong of Australian team.

India vs Pakistan Series: India has brought some changes in the squad

Pakistan is coming in India on November. They will play five ODIs and three tests. They will face each other in the first ODI on 5 November 2007 at Nehru Stadium, Guwahati. It is the first time that India and Pakistan is going to meet again after Twenty20 World Cup Championship which was held in South Africa. India and Pakistan both has made some changes in their teams. India already has declared the 15 members’ squad for the first two ODI matches. A new face would be added in Indian team.

Rahul Dravid and Dinesh Karthik have been left out of the Indian squad for the first two one-dayers against Pakistan. Virender Sehwag makes a comeback, as does Gautam Gambhir, who recently recovered from a groin strain, while Uttar Pradesh allrounder Praveen Kumar is the only new face. Squad for first two one-dayers Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly, Gautam Gambhir, Virender Sehwag, Robin Uthappa, Rohit Sharma, Yuvraj Singh, Mahendra Singh Dhoni (capt & wk), Irfan Pathan, Praveen Kumar, Zaheer Khan, RP Singh, Sreesanth, Harbhajan Singh, Murali Kartik.

Rahul Dravid has failed to make a good score last few matches as a result the selection board has decided to break him for the first two matches against Pakistan. Uttar Pradesh paceman Praveen Kumar has been selected in the replacement of Dravid. In an answer with the reporters, Dilip Vengsarkar, the chairman of the selection committee, said Dravid was "rested". "We decided to give him a break. He's a great player and he will be back soon.”

India former cricketer Sanjay Manjrekar has analyzed the word “rested” in a different way. He has explained that the words ‘rested and dropped’ are different meaning but use is same. He explained, “'Rested' has become an interesting term in world cricket these days, especially in Indian cricket. If S Badrinath or Ajit Agarkar is left out of the Indian squad, he has been 'dropped'. But if a heavyweight has been omitted, he is said to have been 'rested'.”

India became champion in Twenty20 World Cup Champion by new squad where the most important payers were absent. I think, they are hopping to show something unique in this series too.

Pakistan vs South Africa ODI & Test: Pakistan wants to apply T20 experience on home series

Pakistan wants to apply T20 experience on home series by using this theory, Pakistan is going to play a test and odi series along with South Africa. We all know that Pakistan team become runner-up in the inaugural Twenty20 world cup championship. During the world cup Pakistan bead by India two times only. There was no team similar to Pakistan. Now Pakistan captain Shoeb Malik is hopping that they would implement these experiences during the home series.

The Hindu reported that Pakistan captain Shoaib Malik said on Wednesday that his young team can transform its Twenty20 form into success in the forthcoming Test series against South Africa.

“We have performed very well and since the boys are in good form I am confident that we will carry this form into our Test series against South Africa,” Malik told reporters on his return from Johannesburg.

With some new comer Pakistan showed very good jobs in the inaugural Twenty20 world cup. As the captain is thinking to apply this process, I think it will be good for the Pakistan team.

Pakistan vs South Africa ODI & Test: who will be the vice-captain of South Africa?

Pakistan vs South Africa ODI & Test: who will be the vice-captain of South Africa? After Kallis’s resignation from the vice-captain position, still South Africa did not find out anyone for this position. To talk with media South African captain replied that he would inform later who would be that position. Mentionable, Kallis resigned as Vice-Captain of the team (August 2007). South Africans will play Pakistan in two Test matches and five one-day internationals but some of the cricketers have left for breaking the ties of the with SA cricket.

"The main concern is that players who can still mean a lot to the national team are turning their back on South African cricket. Those are the ones we have to keep and whom the administrators should think about," Smith said.

"Guys of 21 and 22 years are leaving because they just do not have the patience to play their way into the national team. Some players who are near the end of their career are also taking that route.

Captain Graham Smith has express some important points that some of three members have keen to earn more money from ICL and about Kallis he added that he really love cricket and his career for this reason he resign form the Vice-Captain position.
