Bollywood Movie Ghajini: Some Interesting Facts

After the 2008 hit Taare Zameen Par, Aamir Khan starrer upcoming film Ghajini, which is a remake of 2005 Tamil film Ghajini, will hit the screens on 25 December 2008. Ghajini means powerful man. Directed by A. R. Murugadoss, the movie features Aamir Khan, Asin Thottumkal and Jiah Khan in leading roles. Music was done by A. R. Rahman and the lyrics of the songs are written by Prasoon Joshi. The movie is produced by Allu Aravind. 

Director A. R. Murugadoss earlier made Ghajini in Tamil language in 2005. Tamil superstar Surya Sivakumar was in the lead role of the Tamil movie. Interestingly, Tamil actress Asin Thottumkal was also in the female lead role of the Tamil movie Ghajini and this time she is going to debut in Bollywood with the Hindi film Ghajini. If you are doubtful about the performance of Asin Thottumkal in her debut Bollywood film, then note that she got the Filmfare Best Actress Award 2006 for her role in the Tamil movie Ghajini. So, you might be temped to see Asin Thottumkal opposite Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan in the Bollywood film Ghajini

Written by A.R. Murugadoss, the story of the movie shows a rich businessman, Sanjay Singhania, who loses his memory for a short term after his girl friend got murdered. After retaining his memory, Sanjay heads to take revenge of the murder of his girlfriend and tries to find out the murderers. 

In the Hindi film Ghajini, Aamir Khan’s hair style is slightly different. Aamir had to change his hair style for the sake of the story of the movie. This new hair style has got huge popularity among his young fans and it has turned into a fashion. 

In the movie Ghajini, there are 5 songs. Noted music composer A. R. Rahman composed all the songs of the movie, while Prasoon Joshi penned all the lyrics of the songs. Several popular singers including Javed Ali, Sonu Nigam, Suzanne D'Mello, Benny Dayal, Shreya Ghoshal and Karthik lend their voice in the songs.

Aamir Khan’s ‘Taare Zameen Par’ Will not Screening in Gujrat

Aamir Khan’s debutant directed film ‘Taare Zameen Par’ has been protested in Gujrat. After six hour Aamir Khan directed ‘Taare Zemeen Par’ will get release India and all over the world. But the film will not get release in Gujrat only. Before ‘Taare Zemeen Par’ Aamir Khan acted film two film 'Fanaa' and 'Rang De Basanti' did not get permission to screening because the actor's supported to Narmada Bachao Andolan. A group of people, who are against Narmada Bachao Andolan, went to the cinema hall authority told them not to screening the film of Amir Khan.

About 50 members of the Sardar Patel Group went to some cinema halls and removed the poster of the to-be-released film of Aamir Khan. The people declared that the film will not screening in Vadodara, Ahmedabad and other places in Gujarat. The group of people is telling that as the Narmada Bachao Andolan is against goodness of Gujrat and Aamir Khan supports it so they will not accept Aamir Khan till he will not beg pardon to the Gujrats.

Yes, it is not good for any kinds of business. I am not sure about is the Narmada Bachao Andolan against Gujrat? Are they using the fact for making any political issue?

Aamir Khan’s debutant directed film Taare Zameen Par

‘Taare Zameen Par’ a debutant directed film of Bollywood Super star Aamir Khan will be released in this week. Aamir Khan first appeared in the Bollywood film at the age of eleven later he evolved with bollywood film in 1984. In his acting life he act many film in Bollywood film industry and got many award but he did not appear as a director. Now, the film Taare Zameen Par’ removes that image and appeared himself as a director. His last acted film ‘Rang De Basanti’ brought a huge box-office hit and got more awards such as Filmfare Critics Award for Best Performance, Nominated, Filmfare Best Actor Award, India's official entry to the Oscars.

'Taare Zameen Par', which opens worldwide this Friday, and his views on educating children today. Explaining his role as an unconventional teacher who helps change the life of a child with academic problems, Aamir said the film does reflect on traditional teaching methods and their efficacy or otherwise.' It's about a kid who has a passion for painting but faces a lot of difficulty in his academic life. It's a story about his life and his relationship with his art teacher, which is the role that I play, by changing his life through caring and understanding. That is the key message of the film - that with caring and love you can actually do a lot,' Aamir said. 'The film is also saying that each of us has got strengths and each of us has got weaknesses - children, adults, everyone. With love and care you can address any weakness and it is our duty to encourage kids in what is their passion and what they love doing to help them to grow,' the actor said.Promos and trailers at cinemas in South Africa show his character doing some rather unconventional things for a teacher, like jumping on the table and shaking his rear at the kids as if to tell them 'Get rid of these stereotypes about people'.Asked about this, Aamir said: 'I think my character is very open-minded as a teacher.

In the film Taare Zameen Par Aamir Khan acted in three role producer, director and actor. Now, we have to wait to see what the film will be, will it get more box office hit??
