USA Cricket Association (USACA) to organize T20 League

America is place where the people mostly played Football (American Football) and Basketball. Cricket does not get huge popularity in the lands instead they like to ply ice-hockey. To make cricket popular they have started form very junior level. Recently, the USA Cricket Association has decided to inaugurate cricket tournament like Indian Premier League. The Cricket Association is planning to arrange the T20 formatted cricket in New York. Although it does not fix yet the inaugural ceremony, it will invite broadcasters, organizers and sponsors by the first week of August this year.

Cricinfo reported:

"The proof will be, is the USA ready to undertake these type of events? When the US was announced back in the late 1980s as the host for the 1994 [football] World Cup, the world laughed and said 'what are they going to do with our game'. And yet we still hold the record for the most tickets sold at a football World Cup.

"Before the world laughs at the US taking on cricket, it's important to say we're going to do it well, we're going to do it smart, we're going to do it best and with the world's experts and put together a programme that will be successful."

After successfully launched the IPL formatted Club Cricket league may be USA Cricket Association is going to take initiatives to organized, although some other country like Australia already has taken the steps to inaugurate the club competition when Sri Lankan Spinner Mendis will suppose to be taken parts. USACA chief executive, Don Lockerbie thinks that they will get huge supports from every area, like the fans of U.S. beside the worlds.

South Africa vs Australia 2009: who will win first T20?

Earlier the year 2009, South Africa played two Twenty20 matches when South Africa visited Australia. That time the visitors defeated in both tournaments. Now, Australia is visiting South Africa. They already has won the Test series and now they will meet for the most exciting cricket match Twenty20 tournament on 27 March, 2009 at  New Wanderers Stadium, Johannesburg and according toe the local time 18:00 and 16:00 GMT.

So, this is a big opportunity for South Africa to take the revenge of defeat. They beat to Australia in the first Twenty20 match for 52 runs and for 6 wickets (with 7 balls remaining) in second one. It is clear that SA could not dominate Aus bowlers in both matches. But, hope that they could do well in their home grounds.

No doubt that that host has to prepare themselves very strong in all sides. Australia is the best cricket playing nation and it is tough to bead them although they are in not in good form now. But the SA are mentally very strong because they won the T20 trophy in Aus. But it is very clear that they have overcome their lacking of the previous test series.

New Zealand vs West Indies T20: who will win?

The last three matches between New Zealand and West Indies did not show any conclusions. There were one T20 and two tests. It is really interesting when any match dismissed without result. For Test match is it a common sight but for One Day International Cricket and the new formatted games T20 it dispersed the cricket fans.

It happened in the recent T20 match between New Zealand vs West Indies that was played at Eden Park, Auckland, on 26 December 2008. After drawn in the two tests, the eyes were fixed to the T20 match to get a result but the audiences were hopeless at the end of the first T20 match. May be it is the second incident after the inaugural World Cup T20 that was inaugurated in South Africa. The final match between India and Pakistan become drawn but dismissed by bowl-out of the T20 World Cup 2007.

Almost all the batsmen of the host New Zealand did not play well but LRPL Taylor and SB Styris scored an honorable score in the first T20 at Eden Park, Auckland. Taylor scored 63 by dominating 50 balls and by spending 70 minutes in crease. On the other hands Styris is the second highest scorer by securing 21 runs from 12 balls. The host scored 155 runs by losing 7wickets.

Although the bowers of the opposition West Indies did not do well except CH Gayle who took 2 wickets by bowing 3 overs but the all the bowers kept stop the opposite batsmen to add a big runs on the scoreboard.

This is not end here. Form New Zealand side similar scene replayed. The skeeper and all-rounder DL Vettori took 3 wickets and JS Patel took 2 wickets.

By loosing 8 wickets the Caribbean had to stop the innings in 155 and remain satisfy becoming drawn.

It is a terrible series for both the teams for achieving nothing. So, the duo will try hart and soul to win the 2nd T20 matches that is going to held at Seddon Park, Hamilton.

Rahul Dravid will Handover his Captaincy before Australia Tours!

When Indian cricket team is plying the World cup Twnty20 at the same time Rahul Dravid has declared to handover his captaincy to others. Dravid has known his wish to the board precedent Sarad Pawer. Dravid thinks that he has to knock down a great effect to his normal jobs. The board member will take decision on 18 September. Just before one week of Australia tour, is it a good decision for India team? Will it be well for whole the team? Australia is coming India after T20 championship which will start form 28 September.

Shah told Cricinfo the board would meet within the next two days to appoint the next captain. "We will take a decision very soon." Australia arrive in India on September 25 and the first of seven ODIs is in Bangalore four days later.

Dilip Vengsarkar, the chairman of selectors, said a decision would be taken on September 18, when the team for the Australia ODIs is to be picked.

Vengsarkar, who was in New Delhi watching the match between India A and South Africa A, appeared unaware of the news until told about it by journalists. Asked for his reaction, Vengsarkar said: "I can't even be shocked because [officially] I haven't heard anything."

Is Dravid handing over his captaincy to stop him from T20 world cup which is taking place in South Africa? Anyway, as he thinking that it is hampering his concentration for batting. I think it is a good decision.
