Sri Lanka vs Pakistan 1st Test at Galle International Stadium on 4 July

Everyone wants success in his life and professional fields and the most important thing is to enable to last out. Pakistan is in Sri Lanka to play two test matches after getting victory over the host in the second world twenty20 championships. This wins has geared up their confidence for the upcoming tour. Pakistan last played Test match in Septembers in the home series against Sri Lanka but for gun attack on the visitors had to back home keeping tour unfinished. So, it will be the finished tour for both teams,

That time, Sri Lanka visited as a touring nation dividing two parts. First time they took part in the One-day series and returning back home they attended on an unscheduled tour along-with India. Banning Pakistan tour India-Sri Lanka authority planned the tour. That time they also played a single short formatted limited over match too. Lankan men performed well in both ODI and Test. But, can they showdown the similar way during the home series?

Pakistan crowned with victory in Lord’s in the final of World Twenty20 and is getting inspiration for the test series. The neutral venue tour hosted by Pakistan along-with Australia, presented themselves as a well formed and strong line-up team in both sides batting and bowling after a long time off from the international cricket.

The first Test match will be held from 04 July Galle International Stadium at 09:30 AM (Sri Lankan Standard time) but according to the PST the showdown will be commence on one hour ago and 04:30 GMT.

Super Eight (super-8, T20) Twenty20 World Cup: what are the key points of Sri Lanka Team?

Super Eight (super-8, T20) Twenty20 World Cup: what are the key points of Sri Lanka Team?

Sri Lanka is the best team among the teams who are plying in Twenty (T20) World Cup 2007. After overcoming the qualified stage with full points, now Sri Lanka is going to play the super- 8 match with another strong team Pakistan. The match will take place at 17 Sep 2007 in New Wanderers Stadium, Johannesburg.

In the first match, Sri Lanka did the highest score of 260 runs by 6 wickets. Sri Lanka’s key player Sanath Jayasuriya did 88 runs with 11 fours but no sixes. On the other had the captain M Jayawardene 65, K Sangakkara 30 (18, 4x5, 6x0) and the lower order batsman J Mubarak did very good score of 46 with 5 sixes and 3 fours. So these kinds of strong batting line could do any devastate in cricket history. Mentionable, that 260 runs was a record of Twenty20 (T20) history.

In the second match, Sri Lanka won the match by 7 wickets. On that day ST Jayasuriya did 61runs and M Jayawardene did 35 run (not out). Sri Lanka reached their target by 18.5 overs.

On the other hand New Zealand did not make a strong score for Sri Lanka’s strong bowling.

Other key point is the bowling line-up. Chaminda, Dilhara Fernando, Sanath Jayasuriya, L Malinga, andT Dilshan are in very good form and the fielding side of Sri Lanka is always better.

If you observe with as strong view it is clear that only Sri Lanka is a strong team of Twenty20 (T20) world cup. What do you think?

Super Eight (super-8) Sri Lanka vs Pakistan: Twenty20 (T20) World cup Championship

Sri Lanka is the best team of Twenty20 (T20) World cup Championship 2007 although Muthaia Muralidharan is not on the team. Sri Lanka has a very good batting and bowling order. I think Sri Lanka will win the Twenty20 (T20) World cup Championship 2007 Trophy.

If you observe their team performances you easily comprehend that how strong they are! In their first match they did a record quantity of runs. They have broken all the records. Probably you will say that their record was against a weak team. I think it is not fair because Kenya beaten may top level teams in international match.

When I was writing the article then Sri Lanka was playing the second match along with New Zealand. After winning toss New Zealand elected bat first and Sri Lanka close their match in runs. So, they were playing with a strong team there.

Anyway, the total performances are well. So it will be hard to beat Sri Lanka.

The match Bangladesh vs India and Sri Lanka vs Pakistan

The match Bangladesh vs India and Sri Lanka vs Pakistan

The four cricket teams of the subcontinent are playing their matches. After finishing the ODI series Bangladesh is playing test match with India. But I have to write about the past ODI between India and Bangladesh at Mirpur in Dhaka. In that match Bangladesh beat by India. But Bangladesh pacer Mashrafee Mortuza’s batting showed the light of win to the fan’s of Bangladesh. In that match Mashrafee took 26 runs from Dinesh Mongia’s over with four sixes. But Indian bowler blow up all the hope and Bangladesh lost the match.

In Abu Dhabi, UAE, Sri Lanka just has finished its match with Pakistan. But the story was becoming strange when Pakistan needed 60 runs from 72 balls. At that time Sri Lanka’s Leg spinner M Bandara came for bowling. Shanid Afradi Who is well known as a hard hitting batsman in the world. He took 32 runs from the last over of Bandara which was 4,4,6,6,6,6. There was a huge six in that over.
