Sri Lanka vs Pakistan final 2009: World Twenty20 at Lord’s

Tillakaratne Dilshan’s responsible batting and Mathews’ three wickets in the first over and other bowlers, such as M Muralitharan and BAW Mendis aggressive bowling in the middle time of the innings supported strongly. In spite of danger man CH Gayle’s not out Sri Lanka bid the opposite side’s batsmen 14 balls left and achieved the qualification to take on runner-up Pakistan in the final match at Lord's in London. The Women World Twenty20 final will be held in the same ground before the men’s Twenty20 final. New Zealand and host England will be taken on each other. According to GMT, the men’s tournament will he held on 14:00 and the women’s final will be held at 09:30 AM GMT.

A aggressive conscientious batting and aggressive bowling over Gayle’s West Indies men, Sri Lanka able to secure an easy victory for the final match of the ICC World Twenty20, 2009 on June 21, 2009. Despite of losing middle order batsmen rapidly, Tillakaratne Dilshan’s not out 96 runs pulled Sri Lanka to scored 158 runs. As a result, Dilshan secured the player of the tournament crest.

By beating, top favorite South Africa, Pakistan qualified for the final of second season. Gathering two very simple win, it qualified for the semi-finals and proved their capabilities beating South Africa.

Pakistan has a very strong bowling line-up this could change the result any time. I want to explain strongly that only for bowling them able to beat the Smith’s men. Now, Pak men are very stable in their mental side. Despite of security reason, no cricket nation visits them in the year 2009. Even they had to keep away from the T20 formatted Indian Premier League. In spite of such barrier, Pakistan could able to show their best performances.

We all have to wait for the final match on 21 June 2009, to watch the two Asian nation’s very competitive tournament. Most important thing, Pakistan took on Sri Lanka in the qualifying round but defeated.

England vs India 7th or Final ODI : Indian Keens to win the Series!

After winning the last match, now India has become strong in mentally. Now they are thinking to win the NatWest series. Yes, they can think because of their very good performances and the top order batsmen’s back to the form.

Times of India has posted a bid article on it. In this article it has described the reflection of Rahul Dravid who is the skipper of Indian team. India then seemed to be cruising as Sachin Tendulkar and Sourav Ganguly put on 150 for the first wicket, only for the momentum to tip back England's way after a series of wickets.

Robin Uthappa, though, kept his nerve amid the chaos, scoring an unbeaten 47 to win the game with two balls to spare.

"We got a bit of the rub of the green, but we have shown a lot of resilience after a long tour," Dravid went on. "It should be a cracker of a game at Lord's."

He had particular words of praise for his much-decorated opening duo.

"When you're chasing 320 you need to get off to a good start," Dravid said.

"They got 150 which make a big difference - especially on a slow wicket when you know it'll get harder to play shots.

If India wants to win the series then the top order batsman Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly needs to play a responsible match like the 6th ODI. Robin Uthappa’s performance also inspires them to do well.

After winning the last math, at Oval, India comes to 3-3 of the seven match series of NatWest series. Last match, 6th match was played at Oval and India won this match. So you should understand that the 7th match is important both the teams. Everyone is thinking that who will able to achieve the crown of the victory. I you will say Indian will but I think England is not lees important than India because they are not less important than India if you look over the previous matches. For the final result we have to wait for Lord’s match where the 7th match of the NatWest will take place.

If we observe the last six matches we can consider easily that India has lost three. Why did they loose? What was the main fact of their defeat? In the every match their main fault was the early downfall of the top order batsman and the non-responsible fielding and other big cause was the slow movement of running between the wickets. The last mach India won and the man of the match award went on Sachin Tendulkar. In an interview with the commentaries he was asked about the slow movement for running between the wickets. Sachin answered cleverly that 4 and 6 increase the run rate but single run is important for a match. Indian skipper Rahul Dravid also answered some questions of the commentaries that were important.

In the last match between India and England, Indian batting, bowling and fielding performance was very good except Yuvraj one over. I discussed on my articles in many time that if India control the fielding and top order batsmen’s early downfall then they could covey all the impossible to possible. It is very good example the last match. If India keens to do well on the 7th or final match at Oval Cricket Ground then they have to follow this theory which was brought success on 6th match.

I think, Indian supporters are praying for their favorite team. No doubt that India did well for their good movement on the last match. It is proved that India can do everything. The 7th match will select who will be the series winner of he seven matches NatWest series.

England was in a step before the 6th match of the ongoing Natwest series. They also own three matches too. They tried to come concluding on the 6th match but Indian batting stopped them and told that we will come to conclusion at the Lord’s Cricket Ground. But I think that the previous they played very not good it is best. As everything has a result so as a result they had to loose three matches. It does not mean that they did not play well. I think these will inspire them to do well as well as raise their hope to win the 7th or final match too. Now Lord’s Cricket Ground will bring the final result. We can easily guess that English’s conditions were very well. If we make a short look on the previous matcher, we easily can see that in the first they defeat seriously India by 104 runs. On the second match, although they lost to India but it was 9 runs and they did 320 runs. In the third match they did only 282 but India did not reached to the target for their strong bowling and fielding. In the fourth match England’s lower order batsman basically bowler’s job was like a middle order bats man. On 114 they lost 7 wickets but the two batsmen strong and steady performances reached England to the target without loss. As a result England defeated India by 3 wickets. That’s mean the can do anything anytime. What will be the position of the England team what happened in their fate in the next match of the NatWest series?

Both the team will fight in strong strength at the Lord’s Cricket Ground. Now their position is 3-3 so we can not think now who will win. Who will ware the victory of crown? Just wait for 8 September 2007.
