CLT20 Qualified Teams for second season 2010

Champions League Twenty20 is the Cricketing format of UEFA Champions League where the best team of national league’s used to take part. In European countries football gets more priority and the owners invest a lot of bucks to achieve the title. Among them Champions League is the some prestigious even in European football. Similarly, aiming to bring the national cricket clubs in a competitive platform CLT20 has been formatted with the dynamic movement of BCCI Vice-president Lalit Modi along with CA and CSA launched the tournament in year 2009.

The first season of the Champions League Twenty20 was held where 12 teams participated. Among them three teams from IPL Twenty20, two form ECB, two from Australia and South Africa, and single team from Sri Lanka, New Zealand and West Indies. But, second season will be started with 10 teams where not teams will take part in South Africa and fixture also been announced.

Eagles v Somerset match 2009 CLT20 on October 16

Somerset has qualified from Group A after DC’s defeats to Trinidad & Tobago. Eagles the runner up from B will appear in the next round that was qualified in a dramatic way. Somerset’s promotion was hanged on the last match of that group. I think you could understand that the two teams’ qualification was totally dramatic. Their league match between Eagles and Somerset will be kick off at 16:00 IST in Hyderabad. Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Uppal will celebrate the first tournament of League A matches.

At Feroz Shah Kotla, Delhi, Eagles took on New South Wales and scored 91 the lowest run of the tournament in answer to 144. R McLaren scored the highest runs 40 and rest of the batsmen walked to the pavilion without scoring any double figure.

There in only one match that was dismissed by playing a super over match. None but Eagles and Sussex was the opposition teams each other. In a tough situation Eagles pursued the victory.

Somerset just chased a single victory over Deccan Chargers which was very exciting. Despite of losing two wickets in last over and the last batting partner secured the victory by hitting two boundaries.

Everything has been passed and now both the teams have to think about their next League stage match. The statistic is complicate in the league stage round math.

Super eight time schedule, Fixture of CLT20: and teams 2009

After crossing a big challenging way the eight teams are qualified for the knock out League match. The last match was between IPL 2009 champions Deccan Chargers and the only cricket club from West Indies Trinidad & Tobago. The match was full of exciting. Deccan’s bowlers closed the opposition batsmen not to cross 150 runs.

The first league match will be started from tomorrow.  Royal Challengers Bangalore and Victoria from the League B with take on each other.  Victoria is the runner up of Group D and RCB is the group champion. You all know that both the teams presented so exciting matches especially the RCB’s match is notable.

IPL Twenty20 2009 champions Deccan Chargers has been out getting beat to the Trinidad & Tobago after passing some exciting moment. So, from the Group-A Trinidad & Tobago and Somerset will play in the Knock out league of Airtel Champions League Twenty20 2009.
