Bangladesh needs extra safety equipment for the security of Cricket World Cup-2011

Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and India will host Cricket World Cup-2011. The inaugural ceremony will be held in Bangladesh. Bangladesh will also host eight matches, six of which will be played in Dhaka and the remaining two in Chittagong.

To ensure security for the players as well as for the visitors is very important for Bangladesh. The government of the country has taken the matter so seriously. The government has decided to purchase safety equipment worth about 4.3 million U.S. dollars to ensure security during the world cup.

Directorate General of Forces Intelligence (DGFI) and National Security Intelligence (NSI) has already received about 1.43 million U.S. dollars each from Finance Ministry   to buy necessary safety devices. The Rapid Action Battalion and police will also buy security equipment. Government will soon form a national security committee headed by the home minister.

England tour of Bangladesh 2010 Schedule and IPL clash

Recently, Wales and England cricket board has declared its next tour plan for 2010 and as the first tour they have selected Bangladesh. Their visiting time is 17 to March 25 they before Twenty20 world Championship. Host team Bangladesh will face their first New Year cricket match with England next in the fist quarter next year. The visitors will play two test matches and three one-day internationals. This series will be started from 28th February. They will play a three days match between leisure time of one-day internationals and Test matches.

Bangladesh cricket team is fully prepared to take on England and has a determination to play competitive cricket in the upcoming series and will thought to be earning a wins over the Englishmen. We all know that Bangladesh cricket team won both test and one-day international against West Indies and another successful tour so I believe they won’t fear to England Cricket team.

Finishing the tour of Bangladesh, both the team will fly to West Indies for the season 3 Tnwenty20 world Championship. Bangladesh will visit England for a bilateral tour just after seven day.

Schedule:
Feb 17: England arrive in Bangladesh
Feb 28: 1st one-day international, Dhaka
March 2: 2nd one-day international, Dhaka
March 5: 3rd one-day international, Chittagong
March 7-9: Three-day tour match, Chittagong
March 12-16: 1st Test, Chittagong
March 20-24: 2nd Test, Dhaka

England tour of Bangladesh is a natural process and none but IPL have many question marks because. The last tow years, IPL Commissioner Mr Modi tried heart and soul so that England player could evolve in the money making game but fail. Even by being spending huge buck they auctioned perhaps four players but played limited matches for their tight international cricket schedule. They requested ICC to make a window for the events too.

Natural digester and Green forest of South Asia

Now, I like to write about the effect of less forest for any country of the earth. The earth is worming day by day. The geographers are thinning about it much. They are not only keeping themselves just in analysis but also aware with seminars and other activities. I live in a south Asian country where the forest is not as much neutral the environment. Here is only 16% forest. But there are some beautiful locations like Sudarban, the only Mangroves forest of the world.

But some of others countries of South Asia is very attractive with their natural resorts. As an example I can use Nepal and Maldives. Bangladesh is almost plane land except some areas that is hilly places. The area draws a net with the flowing rivers. The crops grows well for the moderate climate and fertile land that borrowed by those rive during the rainy season. The land is not so high to se level and the huge water flow during the rainy season form June to October causes flood.

Just after five days the Rainy Season will be started. Before that time, there was a cyclone over this area and causes heavy damages. Many people have been died in the natural calamity of the south west side of the countries. It is common site of this area during this   season. In 1990, more that one lakh people were died these kinds of digester.

ICC World Cup Cricket 2011 final to host in India

Security concern is the main cause shifting ICC World Cup Cricket 2011 from Pakistan. It was scheduled to host the four countries of the Sub-continent India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Pakistan. But, ICC authority has moved all the matches from Pakistan. The recent terrorist attack on Sri Lanka, ICC become alert and become confuse to keep the name of Pakistan in the list of host World Cup Cricket 2011.

Independent reported:

"We have no doubts we will be able to put all security plans in place for 2011 World Cup under the guidance of the security directorate," Lorgat said. "It would be a safe World Cup."

Javed Miandad, Pakistan former batsman dialoged to move 2011 World Cup. He issued, Australian players did not agree to Davis Cup tennis series in India. But ICC authority moved semi final and final match to India. I think this is very good decision.

First e-banking exhibition of Bangladesh

Bangladesh is going to organize the first e-banking fair on 17 March, 2009. It’s really a big step to enter in the digital world. A few days ago, the government declared to open the online banking. It may be the result of that process. One Bangladeshi IT company Axiom Technologies Ltd of Bangladesh and Pakistan Company Total Communication are jointly organizing the exhibition at a five stars hotel.

Thedailystar reported:

“We are organising the event to introduce banking technologies to local banking industry,” said Rizwan Bin Farouq, managing director of Axiom Technologies, at a press conference in Dhaka yesterday.

They said except for foreign banks, the frontiers of e-banking in Bangladesh, only a few private banks are partly doing e-banking. But banking services can be extended to people's doorsteps via e-banking, they added.

If the clients get the easy way to transfer money then the banking sector will be the most popular to the people home and abroad especially the people who want to earn money by using internet technology. The organizes should look very easy way so that the people do not face any problem to get the opportunity from e-banking.

Apu Biswas came in the bangle cinema with the movie of Amzad hossain ‘Kal Shakal’. However, this coming was not successful. The Flood of Bangladesh and My Experiences

BBC has arranged ‘Bangladesh Sanglapa’ on 5 August 2007 at Bangladesh China Friendship Conference. In that discussion the first question was about Bangladeshi flood. All the audiences discussed more than 15 minuets. The authority invited the guests who were from the different political parties, cultural person and climatologist. The first question was from an audience, ‘Why the political leaders are not going to help the flood affected peoples.’ The guests answered according to their capability and were try to show their bindings to help flood affected peoples. Anyway, I have question on their opinions.

Dear readers, I keen to inform you about my experiences on flood which was 1987, 1988 and 1998.

In 1987, I was the student of class five a 10 years old boy. It was the first flood. In that time we lived in stage which was made by bamboo. We had to move one places to another by boat. We had no problem because the villagers had a good habit to move by boat. Both male and female knows how to swim and how to drive boat. I can remember clear that our tube-well went under water and we had go to collect water everyday 2km away form our home.

The flood of 1988 was terrible. The water level was so high that we had not opportunity to live in our house because the water level was nearly hour house roof. So we had to take shelter near the dam which was completed recent year. Not only we but also all of our villagers took their shelter on that dam.

At that time the miserable experiences was that people who were inside the dam. I am saying the miserable experiences because their house went under water when they all slept. The area we live is beside the river and outside the dam. So, in the area we lived the water level raised slowly and it took more than 5days. The poor people basically who are day labor had no work. They lead their life by the help of relief. Our father helped two families whole month by giving food.

For the dam, the water level was more than 600cm differences between the two sides. We took our shelter on the dam and the peoples who was inside laughed at us. I can remember clear that the water raised more than 200cm in a day. At that night, the dam was broken by the force of water and they did not get time to take themselves shelter. For this many people and cattle died. It took nearly one month to reduce the water from our areas.

In 1998, whole Bangladesh was affected by flood. I just have finished my higher education and lived on our local town. I had some experience about flood. But the town people had no experiences how to save themselves from flood. Many people took shelter on different schools and colleges who came form the different villages. My village homes went under water too. That time we had to take shelter on that dam too.

I think, it is not time to quarrel and not to show the excuse. Just help the flood affected people according to one’s capabilities. I had no desire to express my experiences. But the ‘Bangladesh Sanglapa’ bound me to describe it.

Bangladesh Tour of Sri Lanka 2007: Bangladesh Wants to Impress

Bangladesh cricket team is now in Sri Lanka. Bangladesh has never won a test or ODI in Sri Lanka. So, the first thing that Ashraful and his team mates have in mind is to win at least one match in the tour. Sri Lanka is the former World Champion and they are in good form now.

The Hindu wrote:

The Bangladesh team visits Sri Lanka after a heavy defeat of an innings and 239 runs in its second home Test match and a 0-1 series loss to India.

But the team’s stand-in Australian coach, Shaun Williams, said it hopes to put on a good performance in Sri Lanka. “We will be tough and we will be competitive,” he told reporters in Colombo on Monday.

Mohammad Ashraful, who has taken over the captaincy, said the team’s main focus would be to improve.

Are you a fan of Bangladesh cricket team? Then, you should read Bangladesh Cricket blog about the latest updates on Bangladesh cricket team.

India vs Bangladesh Cricket: Who are the Umpires?

From May 10, 2007, India and Bangladesh is going to fight in cricket ground. The names of umpires have been selected. Daryl Harper and Billy Doctrove, Ashoka De Silva of Sri Lanka will be the umpire in that series.

India Times Cricket reported:

Shah will stand with neutral umpire De Silva in the first match at Mirpur while Huq will join him for the last two encounters in Chittagong, Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) have announced.

Another home umpire Akhtar Uddin Shaheen will be the TV umpire for the ODI series.

Shah and Huq will be the TV umpires for the Test series. Roshan Mahanama will be the ICC match referee.

India vs Bangladesh : Shastri and Indian Cricket

In ICC World Cup Cricket 2007, Bangladesh Beat India in the first round. For this India’s dream of world cup was broken. After world cup 2007, India is going to meet again for 10th May 2007 at Dhaka. Indian cricket team manager, Ravi Shastri, promised to see India returning at Dhaka.

The Hindu reported:

Shastri, who took charge of the Indian team only for the ensuing series, said the tour would be a challenge. "It will be a challenging tour especially after the World Cup debacle. We will put out our best foot forward,'' he told newsmen before the camp wound up on Sunday morning.

Referring to the past performance, Shastri said, "what I did not like in the last six months was that the cricketers were going through the motions like they were doing a sort of a 9 to 5 job. If you don't enjoy playing, then forget about winning,'' he said.

Dravid will captain the side. There is no question about that. We know who will lead in case of any eventuality,'' he informed.

The fielding coach, Robin Singh, also drew praise from Shastri. "Robin is tough task master. He will make you put in the best,'' he said.

India is not thinking that it will be easy to beat Bangladesh. It is clear to their conversion.
