Padma Awards 2010: Bollywood and Sports category

In the Padma Awards, Aaamir, Rahman Padma Bhushan and Sehwag and his Guru honored for the national prestigious award this year. For the outstanding contribution, the award was given by the Government of India in different stages Arts, Education, Industry, Literature, Science, Sports, Social Service and public life.

I am just giving a short description only on sports and Arts. On sports category, I am including a few names; in cricket Virendra Sehwag and his ‘guru’ Ramakant Achrekar both has been designated for Padma Shri awards.

Famous music director and creator, the Oscar Winner A R Rahman and most popular bollywood actor Aamir Khan hit been titled for Padma Bhushan. Saif Ali Khan is also nominated for Padma Shri. There are some NRI and foreigner who also awarded for Padma Award, are 13 in number.

Bollywood superstars Aamir Khan’s Eid celebration

The holy Eid-ul-Fitr has been celebrated in the sub continent countries especially Indian and Bangladesh on Monday. All the Muslim people pray their Namaj early in the morning in an assembly. Most of the time, they want to spend this time with their nearest relatives especially parents and children. I am living in the capital city of Bangladesh. Before the first Jamat it had been raining heavily. But the religious Muslims went to Jamat and say their prayers.

I think the fans of the Bollywood superstars Aamir Khan, is like to know that where their favorite actor said his prayer and with whom he has spent his time. He has spent his time with family in Mumbai.

I personally like him so much and he is my favorite actor of Bollywood film industry. None of his film release in the Eid or Dawali. But his Three Idiots film is suppose to be released end of the year.

Asin Thottumkal-Shah Rukh Khan pairs Yash Raj's next film

Asin Thottumkal will act with shah Rukh Khan next Yash Raj untitled film. it’s a great chance for Asin to develop her career. Asin Thottumkal is also happy to get a chance to act with Shah Rukh Khan.

Previously, Asin acted along with Aamir Khan in Ghajini. It has brought super hit in box office. It bought a great fame for her and for her good acting she won 54^th film fear debut female award.

At present Asin Thottumkal is acting Vipul Shah’s London Dreams with Salman Khan. Other co-star is Ajay Devgan. Salman Khan and Ajay Devgan are acting lead roles. Asin is acting in the lead role opposite them. It’s a musical film. Asin Thottumkal is hopeful about the success of this film.

She also expects that it will be success also in the second bollywood film too. Asin is drawing the roll as Priya in this film who is a London born girl.

And Asin’s next film will be along with well known bollywood King Shah Rukh Khan. She had a desired to act with Shah Rukh Khan. Katrina Kaif was selected for Yash Raj next film but in cause of objection director change actress. Shah Rukh Khan proposed to the director to selected Asin Thottumkal his next film as a co-actor.

Asin Thottumkal refused Priyadarshan film whner Akshay Kumar was co-star. Now Asin Thottumkal doesn’t act any Malayame film. She is very choosey. Asin seems it’s very important for herself to act any film like script, character, director, producer and co-artist. So, she takes decision after due consideration.

Filmfare Award 2008: Asin, Aamir, Priyanka, Hrithik and Shah Rukh

South Indian actress Asin Thottumkal wins first Flimfare best Debutante award for her admirable act in Ghajini. Previously she acted Ghajini that was in Tamil language and won Filmfare best Tamil Actress Award. Surya Sivakumar was her opposition Actor. He also won Filmfare best Tamil Actor Award. Ghajini (Tamil) was released on 29 September, 2005. The film earned Rs 90 crore. Director A R Murugadoss reformed Ghajini Hindi version in 2008 and was released 25 December, 2008. The film earned $69,000,000. 

“I’ve got a great welcome in Bollywood... and it’s a nice feeling to be nominated for both the Best Debutante and Best Actress for the same movie,” said Asin Thottumkal.

 Hart Throub actor Hrithik Roshan wins Filmfare Award for his good act in Jodhaa Akbar. Jodhaa Akbar is a love story of 16 century between Akbar, and a Rajput princess, Jodhaa. The film became commercial successful and earned Rs 590,300,000. By compete with Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan and Hrithik Roshan Hrithik Roshan win Filmfare Award for Jodhaa Akbar. Aamir Khan has been nominated for Filmfare Best Actor Award for Ghajini and Shah Rukh Khan for Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi.

Priyanka Chopra wins Filmfare Best Actress Award for her performance in Fashion and it is the third times Priyanka Chopra wins Filmfare Award. Directed by Madhur Bhandarkar Fashion has been released on October 29, 2008.

Salman Khan, Aamir Khan and Shah Rukh Khan, the three persons are the best in bollywood film industry and they are same in age. They are similar popular to the bollywod fans. Main difference is their appearances in bollyood. They all present themselves in bollywood films in their own style. Shah Rukh is always romantic, Salman Khan is mix character but Aaamir Khan is totally different from them. Really, he can do those things that others cannot do.  

Aamir Khan who’s full name is Aamir Hossain Khan and was born on 14 March, 1965. Now Amir Khan is an established as actor, director and producer. Professionally, Aamir Khan began his film with Holi that was released in 1984. In 1988, for best performance, Aamir Khan won Filmfaer Best Male Debut Award. The movie was his cousin Mansoon Khan’s film Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak. He got Filmfare Best Actor Award in 1996 to act in Raja Hindustani. 

Shah Ruka Khan was born on 2 November 1995 who is well known as a film actor, film producer and television host. He has fame by another name in bollywood as King Khan. Shah Rukh Khan’s first film Deewana released in 1992. The film brought Filmfare Best Male Debut Award for his good performance. In 1993, Shah Rukh Khan Won First Film Fare Best Actor Award with the film Baazigar. 

Salman Khan’s full name is Abdul Rashid Salim. Salman Khan has born on 27 December, 1965. Maine Pyar Kiya his First blockbuster hit film and it brought the first award Filmfare Best male Debut Award and nominated Filmfare best Actor Award.

1984 to 2008 Aamir Khan acted in 37 bollywood films. Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak(1988) Raja Hindustani(1996) Lagaan(2001) Rang De Basanti(2006). Among them 6 films brought Filmfear award for Aamir Khan. As a director Aamir Khan won first Filmfaer best Director Award in 2007.

From 1992 to 2008 Shah Rukh Khan acted in more than 68 bollywood films.  Deewana(1992) Baazigar(1993) Anjaam(1994)  Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge(1995)  Dil To Pagal Hai(1998) Mohabbatein(2000) Devdas(2002) Swades(2004) Chak De India(2007).

Aamir Asin Ghajini and music reviews

This has been a belief that only Aamir Khan can turn a simple story into an excellent movie. He has also proved this in his illustrious acting career. He presented many super-hit films starring opposite new actresses. The same thing is going to happen Aamir Khan’s upcmong film Ghajini where Aamir Khan will be seen opposite Asin Thottumkal, the debutant actress of Bollywood. 

On 25 December 2008, Aamir Khan and Asin Thottumkal starrer Ghajini will get released. Popular actress of South Indian movie, Asin Thottumkal, will debut in Bollywood with this movie. In 2005, director A. R. Murugadoss made Ghajini in Tamil language starring Surya Sivakumar, and Murugadoss is going to make the Bollywood firlm Ghajini. Besides Aamir Khan and Asin Thottumkal, the Hindi film Ghajini also stars Jiah Khan in an important role. The movie is produced by Allu Aravind who produced 29 films including Banthrotu Bharya. Music of Ghajini was done by famous music composer A. R. Rahman. Lyrics by Prasoon Joshi, the movie features several noted singers including Shreya Ghoshal, Karthik, Suzanne D'Mello, Javed Ali, Sonu Nigam and Benny Dayal. Media pundits expect that some of the songs of the film Ghajini will be hit this year.

Guzarish: It is a five-minute song, sung by Javed Ali. The lyric of the song is written by Prasoon Joshi. 

Aye Bachchoo: Sung by Suzanne D'Mello, this three-minute song is written by Prasoon Joshi. 

Kaise Mujhe: The duration of the film is 5 minute 47 seconds. Sung by Benny Dayal and Shreya Ghoshal, the lyric of the song is written by Prasoon Joshi. 

There are two other songs in the movie titled Behka and Latoo which are sung by Karthik and Shreya Ghoshal respectively.

 

 

Taree Zameen Par, Aamir Khan, Darsheel and reviews of a fan

Aamir Khan is one of top actors in Bollywood industry. Many of his films impressed Boolywood moviegoers. Similarly, his first directorial Taree Zameen Par impressed the audience.

The movie is set on a psychological problem of a school-going child. The movie highlights the problems that this school-going child faces in his studies. These problems are shown very clearly in the movie.

Darsheel Safary plays the role of the school child in the movie. Darsheel Safary depicted the role of the school going child excellently with his outstanding performance and you can feel the reality in his acting.

Children are taught in different schools, but weak students are sometimes looked down upon and are not provided with needed guidance. Sometimes, schools do not want to understand the problems of the weak students and this affects their progress in studies.

However, this movie shows that it is possible to solve these accelerate their progress by identifying their problems. The picture Taree Zameen Par portrays reflects the reality. Aamir Khan is seen in the role of the teacher who solves the problems of the child.

The movie tells us that it is needed to keep our eyes open regarding the psychological problems of the children and this will be conducive for their progress. The central character of the movie is the child who suffers from learning disorder and he is shown as a weak student who has problem in learning. Darsheel depicted the role excellently with his acting talent.

Aamir Khan Better Prepared for Oscar with “Taare Zameen Par”

Last year’s Bollywood flick “Taare Zameen Par” has been selected as India’s official entry to Oscar. Aamir Khan’s directorial debut saw an extensive success at the box office in India, grossing more than one billion rupees (21 million dollars). "Taare Zameen Par" (Stars on Earth) is a movie that revolves around the story of an eight-year-old boy suffering from dyslexia or learning disorder and relationship with school teacher, the role portrayed by Aamir Khan himself.

This is not the first time that Aamir Khan’s movie has entered into Oscar. Actually, Aamir Khan starrer 2001 movie "Lagaan" (Tax) was the official entry from India to Oscar and reached the top five of the list. "Lagaan" was also released from Aamir Khan Production. However, the actor has recently claimed that he is now better prepared for the forthcoming Oscar and he wants to hire a publicist this time around.

Aamir Khan starrer "Rang de Basanti" was last year’s Oscar nomination from India, but the movie could not go far in the competition. So, Aamir Khan has been a known face in India’s Oscar nominations and the actor thinks he will have advantage as people already know about his previous movies. Now, let us see if Aamir Khan can manage to win the most prestigious Oscar for “Taare Zameen Par”, becoming the only second Indian director after Satyajit Roy.

Aamir Khan’s ‘Taare Zameen Par’ Will not Screening in Gujrat

Aamir Khan’s debutant directed film ‘Taare Zameen Par’ has been protested in Gujrat. After six hour Aamir Khan directed ‘Taare Zemeen Par’ will get release India and all over the world. But the film will not get release in Gujrat only. Before ‘Taare Zemeen Par’ Aamir Khan acted film two film 'Fanaa' and 'Rang De Basanti' did not get permission to screening because the actor's supported to Narmada Bachao Andolan. A group of people, who are against Narmada Bachao Andolan, went to the cinema hall authority told them not to screening the film of Amir Khan.

About 50 members of the Sardar Patel Group went to some cinema halls and removed the poster of the to-be-released film of Aamir Khan. The people declared that the film will not screening in Vadodara, Ahmedabad and other places in Gujarat. The group of people is telling that as the Narmada Bachao Andolan is against goodness of Gujrat and Aamir Khan supports it so they will not accept Aamir Khan till he will not beg pardon to the Gujrats.

Yes, it is not good for any kinds of business. I am not sure about is the Narmada Bachao Andolan against Gujrat? Are they using the fact for making any political issue?

‘Taare Zameen Par’ a debutant directed film of Bollywood Super star Aamir Khan will be released in this week. Aamir Khan first appeared in the Bollywood film at the age of eleven later he evolved with bollywood film in 1984. In his acting life he act many film in Bollywood film industry and got many award but he did not appear as a director. Now, the film Taare Zameen Par’ removes that image and appeared himself as a director. His last acted film ‘Rang De Basanti’ brought a huge box-office hit and got more awards such as Filmfare Critics Award for Best Performance, Nominated, Filmfare Best Actor Award, India's official entry to the Oscars.

'Taare Zameen Par', which opens worldwide this Friday, and his views on educating children today. Explaining his role as an unconventional teacher who helps change the life of a child with academic problems, Aamir said the film does reflect on traditional teaching methods and their efficacy or otherwise.' It's about a kid who has a passion for painting but faces a lot of difficulty in his academic life. It's a story about his life and his relationship with his art teacher, which is the role that I play, by changing his life through caring and understanding. That is the key message of the film - that with caring and love you can actually do a lot,' Aamir said. 'The film is also saying that each of us has got strengths and each of us has got weaknesses - children, adults, everyone. With love and care you can address any weakness and it is our duty to encourage kids in what is their passion and what they love doing to help them to grow,' the actor said.Promos and trailers at cinemas in South Africa show his character doing some rather unconventional things for a teacher, like jumping on the table and shaking his rear at the kids as if to tell them 'Get rid of these stereotypes about people'.Asked about this, Aamir said: 'I think my character is very open-minded as a teacher.
