All-rounder James Hopes doubt to appear in the Twenty20 Championship 2010

James Hopes is an Australian all-rounder cricketer who uses to play on the side of Queensland. The thirty one years old has signed with the Kings XI Punjab but he may not attend in the ongoing season of the Indian Premier league 2010 because of his injury. It is totally doubtful about his participation in the upcoming Twenty20 World Championship this year that has been scheduled to commence on from May this year.

“I was pushing to be in the Twenty20 World Cup squad and if I could have gone over there (India) after this game and played some Twenty20 games over there and done OK my case may have been stronger to be included in that team.” Hopes said.

As an all-rounder he has participated in the 43 twenty20 tournament and scored 752 runs. His strike rate is looking pretty good but average is not so fruitful.  But as a bowler he is looking a little bit successful by picking up 32 wickets from 43 appearances. So the next Twenty20 Championship is his one of the important issue. In his T20s career, he appeared in 11 matches and earned 11 wickets and 75 runs.
