Twenty20 World Cup 2009: Trophy has been unveiled in Mumbai

India, the World Twenty20 Champions of 2007, secured the title in the inaugural stage of the short formatted cricket tournament which was held in South Africa. The Trophy is at India now. The second edition of the championship will be hosted in England. The inaugural ceremony will be commenced on 5 June at Lord’s and the final match of World Twenty Championship will be held in Lord’s on 21 June. 7-1/2 kilograms weigh Trophy will be handed over to the wining captain of the season 2009 at Lord’s that was received by MS Dhoni, the Indian captain as a wining team in South Africa. Recently, Indian former captain and ICC ambassador Dilip Vengsarkar has unveiled the trophy of Twenty20 World Cup 2009 in Mumbai. He hopes that Indian will be the title holder this year too.

"Since this is a very good side, all the players are in good form and they are capable of giving their best performance, so they have the best chance to win again...because the World Cup which they won in South Africa...they (get) another chance to go out in England and win the World Cup, they have the potential and I am sure that they will win it," he said.
