After staying off the cigarettes for a long time, Saif Ali Khan is lighting up again.

There was a time when Saif was a regular smoker. But then, he had a minor heart stroke last year and was admitted to a hospital in Mumbai. Doctors had strictly warned him to quit smoking after his recovery.

Saif heeded the doctors’ advice for a long time. But the craving for cigarettes has finally got the better of Khan, for he has resumed smoking again.

Last week, Saif was spotted smoking at a party after Filmfare Awards. In fact, girlfriend Kareena Kapoor was upset over her beau taking to the cancer stick again.

Saif has also admitted to a tabloid that he has begun smoking again.

However, Saif added that he is not a regular smoker and lights up only occasionally. And these occasions come after Saif has had a couple of drinks at parties, which, Saif says, is very rare.

Some of the other actors who have struggled with smoking are Aamir Khan , Shah Rukh Khan and Ajay Devgan .

Aamir resumed smoking before the release of Taare Zameen Par but made a New Year resolution to quit smoking from January 1. However, Aamir failed to keep his resolution and managed to quit cigarettes only weeks later.

Shah Rukh Khan, on the other hand, has stirred controversies by lighting up at public places. He has also justified smoking in films as “creative liberty” for the artists.

Aishwarya has sign for Robot

By breaking all gossip, the Bollywood most desirable beauty queen, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has signed Shankar’s ‘Robot’ along with Tamil superstar Rajnikant.

Aishwarrya has signed for the movie but in exchange, she has taken enormous amount of 6 crore. Already, she has taken some money as advance. It is the first time of any Bollywood actress who has taken highest amount to work for any movie. The high budgeted film ‘Robot’ will be directed by Shankar and produced by Ayngaran International in association with Eros Entertainment.

Through the contact, Shankar has been assured the time when he will start shoot for his film. Both the sides have seemed delight after signing the contact. Probably the shooting will be start in May or June this year. Time will be available for Ash after 18 months from right now.

Ash and his husband Abhishek Bachchan will also act Mani Ratnam’s film which will be stat sometimes in September/ October. The indoor shooting will be mainly in Chennai. Since, Ratnam has good relation with Rajnilkant and Shankar so there will be no problem with dates.

Saif-Kareena tried to absent from Sharmila

Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor were shooting for Yash Raj film ‘Tashan’ in Yash Raj studio then Saif’s mom Sharmila Tagore was present at that studio. Sharmila Tagore is a judge on a singing reality show ‘Dhoom Macha De and was shooting of the show. All of them were very close especially, Sharmila and Kareena yet they didn’t meet together. Despite being Saif’s mother Kareena didn’t visit to one time’s Bollywood’s most popular and efficient actress, Sharmila.

From a reliable source, it is known that Sharmila didn’t like Kareena. So, she likes to stay away from her. Besides, Kareena also was not so as desire to meet Sharmila. Sameera Reddy’s next films and boyfriends

Sameera Reddy is well known as a glam girl in Bollywood. She is going to dominate silver screen with her two films in March. One is ‘Race’ and other is ‘One Two Three’. In the film she has acted as a little bit mentally disorder girl where she acted as Anil Kapoor’s secretary. The beauty secretary Sameera Reddy’s RACE is from Abbas Mastan film.

The second film featuring Sameera is One Two Three which is a laugh riot. In the film she is paired opposite Suneil Shetty. Directed by debutant Ashwani Dheer, the film is basically centered on Shetty, Tusshar Kapoor and Paresh Rawal though the girls are also supposed to be playing a supporting role to each of these three men.

Rekha has married again??

I would have known that Bollywood diva Rekha has still unmarried. After reading some article and comment I could know that she got married two more times. Anyway, it isn’t the main theme of my articles. Recently, Rekha attended in a wedding greeting of santoor player Rahul Sharma and was bearing sindoor. The most important question is why she wore sindoor? Did she marry again or other thing was behind it? Another important thing is her young life lover Amitabh Bachchan was present there.

Rekha had an ill luck romance with none other than Big B, Mr. Amitabh Bachchan. When that turned sour, she was rumored to have got married with late actor Vinod Mehra. After Vinod’s death in an accident, she got married with an industrialist named Mukesh, who also lost life in an accident. After that, Rekha has not been rumored along with any other senior actors (except short sassy romance with Mr. Khiladi during making of International Khiladi.)

Although I have quote it form a website but here is some mistake. The corrections will be 1. Rehka’s first husband Vinod Mehara was died of heart attack and second husband Mukesh hanged himself. There was no message that Rekha married again. So what is the matter of bearing sindoor.

Now what we are mesmerized about is why did Rekha wear the sindoor at an event where her former lover was present? Could she be hinting at something… has Rekha secretly got married with someone? Or did she indeed get married with Amitabh Bachchan in the 70s and still regards herself as his wife?

Some message is telling that she could bear sindoor to show off Amitabh Bachachan. But I am confused that why she will show it to Amitabh?

Ricky Ponting’s century and next

Australian skipper, Ricky Ponting played an astonishing innings in 10^th match in CB series against India. He played an impressive innings by scoring 124 from 132 balls in that match, which proves his superiority. He was inspired through his young opponents in the series.

Ponting played his first shot between cover and point and took three runs by singles. After this two fours came from one over off Sreesanth. His lost confidence was back when pulled a over boundary off Irfan Pathan’s over. From the opening he began his playing in showing as well as aggressively and his strokes carried power. His batting performance has proved that he is one of the best batsmen in this modern generation. Ponting’s initial run came from a boundary and when it was not possible any boundary between overs 10-19 then he was taking the singles, twos and threes.

Ponting is happy to back in runs. Comparing two days earlier match against Sri-Lanka, the quality of this match was best, in that match, he got out before facing 33 deliveries. He says that the wicket was best for his team because they have played many matches in the tournament. So, it was good for them especially for Hayden, Andrew Symonds and Ponting own self for back to form. Ponting scored 124, which is the highest in the CB series and Andrew Symonds, who scored 59.

Michael Clarke will not join IPL

Michael Clarke, the young and responsible batsman in the Australia team. He also captained Australia’s Twenty20 cricket team. He had a commitment to join IPL in India. But, in case of his father illness, he has decided not to attend in the inaugural 44-days IPL Tewnty20 tournament that will be started form 18 April. Although Michael Clarke has skipped to join IPL but the associates Symonds , retiring wicket-keeper Adam Gilchrist, captain Ricky Ponting, retired Glenn McGrath, Michael Hussey, Matthew Hayden and some others will be playing in the IPL either this year or from the next edition. Clarke’s father, Les, has been suffering for cancer one year. That is why he has decided to spend time with his family. I have taken the quote from Sify Sports.

"When IPL was first mentioned, dad and I talked about it. I told him what it was - the money they were offering and things like that," Clarke was quoted as saying in Sydney Morning Herald.

"But Lara (his girlfriend), mum (Debbie), dad, my sister (Leanne) and I had dinner on Monday night and I told them then that I wasn't going to go. They asked why, but they were very supportive of my decision. Dad just said that money's not a worry and at this stage of my career it's worth enjoying time at home."

Michael Clarke has no allegation not to join IPL but he is happy to spend more time with his family. He thinks that as he loves cricket and the opportunity will come again. Clarke’s girlfriend Lara, whose father has cancer. They all will go to fishing during the free time.

BCCI denied Pakistan’s offer?

Pakistan has requested BCCI to schedule a tour in the middle of March. India is playing a Tri-Nation CB Series in Australia. After finishing the series the team will back to home at the end of the first week of March. So, how it is possible for the team? BCCI explained about the next tour that will be start form last week of March. The most important thing is that India covering a long tour without rest so they need to rest. BCCI officials are also responsible for their payers.

"The players have had a long and strenuous tour of Australia and will return only on March 8 or 9," Niranjan Shah, the board secretary told Cricinfo. "They have to assemble for the South Africa series on March 22. So it will be really tough to play three ODIs in between.”

It is clear, why Pakistan is requesting BCCI for a short tour of three ODI because Australia is not agree to make a long tour in Pakistan and if BCCI agrees then Pakistan will not have to long rest before Australia tour.

The Pakistan board, it is learnt, were confident that the tour would go ahead and had already began preparations for the three games, all scheduled for Lahore. The decision from the BCCI - taken by the office bearers today - was conveyed to the PCB chairman, Nasim Ashraf, by his Indian counterpart, Sharad Pawar.

India was defeated by 18 runs to Australia in the Tri-Nation CB Series on Sunday at SCG. Gautam Gambhir’s 113 runs could not save India. Indian top order batsmen failed to make a good score almost in the every match in the CB series. Sachin Tendulkar, Indian little master and most depended batsman, has failed to get runs in the last matches in this series. Besides Rohit Sharma, Virender Sehwag couldn’t do well in any match of this series.

Sri Lanka is thinking hardly for the next match

Visitor Sri-Lanka is now on pressure in CB series after defeating near Australia on last Friday match at Melbourne Cricket Ground. The host Australia has confirmed their final match in CB series by wining through the last Friday match against Sri-Lanka.

However, Sri-Lanka will face more two matches more one of it against India on Tuesday, 26 February and another against on Australia, 29 February. Sri-Lankan skipper Mahela Jayawardene said that they would have chance to reach in final if they could win the two matches. He said, “I’ve played very few matches against but I’ve seen that the Aussie don’t take any mach carelessly. They can play well with out Brett lye, McGrath.”

Shweta Kumar is a professional actress

Karzzz is the second film of singer, music director Himesh Reshammiya and Shweta Kumar is the heroine in that film. The movie has been being shot in Johannesburg since the last month. Although the name Shewta Kumar is not well known to all but you could understand if I describe about her in a word. She is the daughter of the famous director Indra Kumar.

Shweta Kumar showed her professionalism with her works. As she is the daughter of a film director, she knows the value of time and that is why she did not stop the shooing despite of her injury.

Shweta seems to have learned the importance of professionalism from her director father Indra Kumar . While shooting a song titled “Soniye” for the T-Series film Karzzzz in Johannesburg, Shweta collapsed and was later diagnosed with a severe sprain in her leg.

The doctor put a plaster on Shweta’s leg, but the feisty girl reported on the sets the next day, to complete her portions of the song.

I think, to see this punctuality all will show respect her and there no exception here. It is the first stage and main thing to become famous in life.

Director Satish Kaushik , producer Bhushan Kumar and actor Himesh Reshammiya were pretty impressed by Shweta’s dedication.

Concerned about her leg, Kaushik only shot very simple dance steps and took close-up shots of Shweta, who took painkillers and danced despite her sprained leg.

After completing the shooting Shweta Kumar begs to take rest for two weeks and during this gap other co-actor will finish their works.

Kareena Kapoor could be act with Saif and Ranbir

Kareena is now a demanding celebrity in Bollywood because she has yielded many hit movies last year besides she has a number of big banner films in her schedule at present. Kareena is now a deliberated personality by a dissimilar relation with Saif Ali Khan. And it is having dipper in day by day. They will be paired very soon in Yash Raj film, ‘Tashan’. Siddharth Anand has good experience of working with Saif Ali Khan in Salaam Namaste and Ta Ra Rum Pum so, he keen to work with Saif again. On the other side Siddharth Anand and Randbir Kapoor are childhood friends. Obviously, the audience can be seen the three talented stars Kareena, Saif and Ranbir together in a film. At present, Siddharth Anand is busy in a shooting with Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor under Yash Raj banner.

Aditya-Payal divorce to marry Rani?

Aditya Chopra, a popular film maker in Bollywood, has decided to divorce his ex-wife Payal Khanna owing to marry Bollywood distinguished actress, Rani Mukherjee. It is a questions in media now.

The hot-shot producer and director, Aditya Chopra has presented many hit movies like DilwaleDulhaniya Le Jayenge Mohabbatein, Dhoom and Chak De and ready to direct Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. Aditya Chopra-Payal Khanna divorced

Yash Raj Films owner Aditya Chopra, who directed some blockbuster film in bollywood and own the heart of the bollywood fans but he has fail to won the heart of his real life queen Payal Khanna. They were not happy in there five years conjugal life. From last two years their relationship becomes more irritate. As a result they decided to divorce.

Aditya Chopra who has had an estranged relationship with wife Payal Khanna since two years, has filed a mutual consent petition for divorce and is already serving the mandatory six-period cooling-off time. In fact, the filmmaker’ legal divorce is due in three months. Aditya who has been married to Payal for five years moved out of his parents’ home in 2006 after they expressed their unhappiness over his decision to divorce.

Although Adidya’s family love Payal Khanna very much but they have nothing to do. But they are giving logistic help to Payal and giving a large amount of money and a home in Juhu.

Aditya’s family loves their daughter-in-law very much and they were not happy with his decision. Sameera Reddy, a Naxal girl in ‘Red Alert’

Popcorn entertainment with Balaji Films is going to produce jointly a film named ‘Red Alert’, base on Naxalites. The film will be directed by Anant Mahadevan. Naxalites is most considerable matter in India. May be it is the first film on Naxalites. Sameera Reddy is a popular name in bollywood for her performance in the film of Abbas-Mastaat’s ‘Race’. She has been selected for a character in the film ‘Red Alert’. She has taken the job seriously and that is why she has read the biography of Al-Quida leader Osama Bin Laden. Sameera Reddy is from Andhra Pradesh and Naxalite is well established there. I think, it is the main cause why Anant Mahadevan has selected Sameera Reddy.

It is believed that Sameera who plays a role of a Naxalite is doing a lot of research. She has also read a biography of dreaded terrorist Osama Bin Laden. She confirms “Yes I have read Osama Bin Laden’s biography. But coming back to the Naxal problem, there are always two sides to a Naxalite. It explains how and why a person becomes a Naxalite.”

Sameera has a reason for doing this film. She reveals “I am also from Andhra Pradesh where the naxalite attacks are a common occurrence. Everyday you will here about such happenings there. It’s a very big problem. I already know about the issue, so I am very happy that someone from Bollywood is actually making a film on it.”

The director is telling that he has taken the story form newspapers. Beside Sameera Reddy some strong actors will portray in different characters. He also thinking that the film will be quality based so that it can take part in the international film festival.

Saif Ail Khan is trying to convince Karisma Kapoor

If you read the newspapers regularly last week, I think you should read more news about Kareen Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan’s romance news. Some newspapers told that they are going to marry soon, marriage is on papers etc. it was the comment of the media but what was the comments of Kareena’s father’s and sister Karisma Kapoor? Kareena,s father told a simple word that if Kareena wants to marry Saif then he has no problem.

After earning few good words from Bebo’s father Randhir Kapoor who was recently quoted saying if Bebo is happy, they have no problem.

Now Saif is determine to influence Karisma that is why he met with her in a grand show. The close’s recommended that they were speaking their mind and smiled. It doesn’t mean that Karisma is agree with their relationship. I think we can know that what the result come?

Filmfare Power List 2007 has been announced

Now it is hot news in media that is the ‘Filmfare Power List’. I thnink some people will be happy to see the list and others not. But the reality is that the survey was very simple and that was run by ACNielsen. By the survey it’s asked all kinds of people. ACNielsen is one of the world's leading marketing information companies which is offering market research and services in more than 100 countries. It has a branch in India too. Filmfare has announces the ‘Filmfare Power List’,

Sitting at number 10 was Karan Johar, with Rani Mukerjee and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan just above him at number 9 and 8 respectively. The number 7 spot was given to Amitabh Bachchan and ahead of him Salman Khan and A R Rahman came in at 5 and 6. Though the release of Jodhaa Akbar was delayed until 2008, the high anticipation for the film had Hrithik Roshan coming in at number 4.

Akshay Kumar filled the number 3 spot. Akki had a release filled and box office bonanza in 2007 with Namastey London, Heyy Baby, Bhool Bhulaiyya, and Welcome.

Shah Rukh Khan came in at number 2, which was a repeat of his place in 2006. SRK had an excellent year with not only Chak De India but also Om Shanti Om being two of the biggest hits of 2007.

Yash and Aditya Chopra, who produced the SRK starrer Chak De India, are once again number 1 on the Filmfare Power List.

Baba Ramdev, Shilpa’s Yoga Teacher

Shilpa Shetty joined in a yoga camp for practicing some yogic asans in western Mumbai under the guidance of famous yoga guru, Baba Ramdey. About thousand of people took part including Shilpha Shetty in the camp, which organized by Baba Ramdy.

Asian Film Festival will take place from 9 February

From 9 February, the Asian Film Festival will be run around 12 days. The festival is going to organizing by the Asian consuls General Club and it will take place in the Al-Hamra district of Jeddah. The location of the auditorium is in the residence of the Indonesian consul general at Al-Marhoumi Street (21).

The festival begins with India’s “Chak de India” and a Saudi Arabian documentary on Feb. 9. This will be followed by a Japanese film “Nitaboh” and documentaries on Feb. 10, Malaysian film “Mukhsin” and documentaries on Feb. 11, Sri Lankan “Udu Gan Yamaya” and documentaries on Feb. 12, Indonesia’s “Nagabonar” and documentaries on Feb. 13, Bangladesh’s “Aha” and documentaries on Feb. 14, Pakistan’s “Jinnah” on Feb. 15, Philippine documentaries on Feb. 16, China’s “Beautiful Homeland” and documentaries on Feb. 17, Thailand’s “Hom Rong” on Feb. 18, Singapore’s feature film and Saudi documentaries on Feb. 19 and Korea’s “Family Tie” on Feb. 20.

A number of Rajput community Members staged a protest today against a Bollywood film Jodhaa Akbar in Delhi.

More than hundreds of youth belongings of Rajput community staged a protest demonstration and given slogan in loud voice against the producer Ashutosh Goyarikar’s film Jodhaa Akbar. Even they burnt the promotional picture of the film. They have protested about the origin of Jodhaa Bai, as has formed in the movie. According to Rajputs, Jodhaa Bai was the dautheter-in-law of Emperor Akbar not his wife. Actually, Jodhaa was wife of Jehangir, son of Akbar.

After a long time break Aditya Chopra has come back under Yash Raj Films (YRF) production. Aditya Chopra directed a film eight years ago.

His directorial debut film “Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge” continues its record breaking run during 13^th year. Now, Aditya is preparing to direct his third film under Yash Raj film and his directorial venture will be named “Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi” with King Bollywood Badshah Shahrukh Khan in the led character. And he is looking for a new girl against King Khan in his coming movie.

The film will be directed by Aditya Chopra and produced by Yash Chopra. Shooting to be started May‘08 and the film may be released by the end of 2008.

Suppose one choroot takes half an hour to burn off, and a man smokes twelve choroots daily; then you see, he wastes six hours every day in sheer smoking.”

We talked on various subjects; and I learned that they were not subject to any kind of epidemic disease, - nor did they suffer from mosquito-bites as we do. I was very much astonished to hear that in Lady-land no one died in youth except by rare accident .
