Yash Chopra to Direct Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif in his Next Film

After Veer Zara in 2004, Yash Chopra, one of the most celebrated filmmakers of Bollywood, is going to direct another movie and he has already roped in some of today’s big stars in the industry including Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif. However, the casting of the movie has already caught the attention of the Bollywood moviegoers as the casting coup features a number of high-profile Bollywood rivalries.

First of all, it was unexpected that Katrina Kaif will be seen in a film alongside Shah Rukh Khan following King Khan’s recent fallout with Salman Khan, the real life love bird of Katrina Kaif. Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan involved in a hot spat at Katrina Kaif’s birthday party few weeks back. Reports suggest that Katrina Kaif took the decision of signing in for Yash Chopra’s next firm herself. She has also signed up for Temptations Reloaded Tour that was spearheaded by Shah Rukh Khan.

Another source suggests that Yash Chopra personally contacted Katrina Kaif with the offer and she was not in a position to say no to someone of Yash Chopra’s stature. This is undoubtedly an eye-catching offer for Katrina Kaif as the film could take a new turn in her career. Getting into a Yash Raj Production and being directed by Yash Chopta himself is more than a dream for someone like Katrina Kaif whose career wheel is now on rise.

Salman Khan is now busy with shooting for Vipul Shah's London Dreams in Paris and London. So, it is yet to see if Salman Khan reacts positively to Katrina Kaif’s decision of signing in for the Yash Chopra’s film alongside Shah Rukh Khan. Another Bollywood rivalry would feature in Yash Chopra’s next Bollywood project. It is now an open secret that Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan are avoiding each other in the industry since their infamous fallout following a series of negative remarks being thrown at each other in the media by themselves last year. Now, both Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan will have to share screen space in Yash Chopra’s next film.
