Arsenal Winger Theo Walcott might sit out for Blackburn Encounter

Following a heroic performance in England’s emphatic 4-1 victory against Croatia, Theo Walcott might not start against Blackburn Rovers. The 19-year-old scored a superb hat trick at Zagreb against Croatia in their world cup 2010 qualifying campaign. Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger might be interested to give the youngster some rest as he traveled a lot this week. Moreover, Wenger will take a last minute decision on the fitness of midfielder Samir Nasri.

I am not sure if it would be a good decision to sit Walcott out for the match because Arsenal lost their only away fixture at Fulham so far this season. So, ahead of the away match at Ewood Park, Arsenal might need to be more careful, though it is true that Arsenal is clearly favorite in the match. However, it is also true that Arsene Wenger knows very well about his squad and he would not take any risk for the match.

Blackburn Rovers will have their new signing Robbie Fowler available for the Arsenal encounter as Blackburn manager Paul Ince has kept him in the squad for Arsenal match.
