World Cup Cricket: Bangladesh Team in the Second round!

In ODI Cricket Bangladesh beat India and Sri-Lanka only one time. But in the World Cup Cricket 2007 in the same group of Bangladesh is stronger team. Bangladesh able to go to the second round if the can win more than tow match. Though it is easy for Bangladesh to beat Bermuda but India and Sri-Lanka is stronger team.

ABC Sport reported:

A

solid start from young left-handed opener Nafees will be essential so that the middle-order batsmen can perform under less pressure.

Bashar is the most experienced batsman, having played nearly 100 one-dayers, and provides solidity to the middle order.

Ashraful is a stroke-maker who can be a big asset if he succeeds in converting good starts into big knocks.

Veteran left-arm spinner Mohammad Rafique is the key bowler, having the ability to keep batsmen quiet with his tidy line and length.

Rafique, the only Bangladeshi with more than 100 wickets in one-dayers, and fellow-spinner Abdur Razzak have often dried up runs in the middle order. But they require support from pacemen to make their contributions count.

In Bangladesh Team there are better batsman like Nafees, Habibul Bashar and Mohammad Ashraful. If they show their best performance, Bangladesh could do well.
