Bakarkhani: A Traditional food of Old Dhaka

Bakarkhani is a traditional food of the people of old Dhaka. The history tells that this food comes from the name of the Mughul emperor.

Bakarkhani, a type of small round biscuit-like bread, especially popular among the residents of Old Town in Dhaka, is losing its popularity as the shops who used to prepare the food do not market it in other parts of Dhaka or across Bangaldesh.

Although this food has not a quality items and test like first food. But the people old Dhaka hold the tradition of the past history.
