Dear viewers, in this picture you are watching two men are smoking in a motionless style. Fishing in the water they became cold and they are worming up themselves by smoking.

This picture I took from a remote area of Bangladesh. The name of the village is Dumaria under Gopalgonj district.
They were catching shrimps with net in a hatchery. In that area pisciculture is common. After harvesting the seasonal crop, when the rainy season comes and the field fill with water then the farmer start this work and April to October.

This kind of fishes is very demandable fish. Bangladesh earns more foreign exchange with this fish. For this it’s called the ‘White Gold’.

Steamer: A Comfortable Transport

Steamer is one kind of ship which transports people and goods from one place to another. This steamer was probably brought at British ruling time. That time it was common transport in Bangladesh. Now a day this transport is nearly closed. But only run form Dhaka to Khulna via Barisal. Now it is running as comfortable transport. I have taken these pictures form Sadar Ghat, Dhaka.
